    Every evening we provide a three course meal for those who dine in. Everything is prepared from fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally. Fresh vegetables from our garden combined with meats from local farmers, local cheese and fresh fish fresh from the Tasmanian seas form the basis of the meals. Rich gravies, delicate sauces and home pastry are our specialty.
    If you have special dietary needs please let us know as we can cater for you from our wide range of culinary experience.

    Gourmet 3 course dinner

    An easy-grade walk which takes about three hours over level terrain. This walk provides an exciting insight into Tasmanian's world famous rainforests and the evolutionary history of the eucalypt forests. It is suitable for younger children and older people of reasonable fitness. Walks generally depart about 10 am but can be timed to suit your requirements.

    Guided Rainforest Walk

    A moderately difficult walk which takes about four hours and is partly off track. This is a walk that will interest most visitors to Tasmania as it provides a broad overview of Tasmania's typical forest and rainforest communities. Lunch is provided. Not suitable for small children. Groups of 4 adults receive a discount.

Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen

Guests are respectfully requested to cancel their booking if they have any COVID-19 symptoms before travelling. Stay at home if you are unwell. Cancellations due to COVID-19 will attract no penalty. If you arrive with symptoms we will request that you get tested at the first available opportunity. We can help you to isolate until your results come back.
A deposit is required to confirm the booking equivalent to the first night's room charge.

Stornierungsbedingungen

If you give 30 days or more notice of cancellation a fee of $20 will occur.
If you give between 30 and 6 days notice of cancellation, a fee of $30 per night of the booking will occur.
Cancellation of any nights with 6 days or less notice before or on arrival will forfeit an equivalent of the deposit amount. Cancellation of any days following arrival, will forfeit the rest of the value of the booking.

Forest Walks Lodge is located in the valley of Jackeys Marsh on the Great Western Tiers in the heart of northern Tasmania. To find us follow the sign posts to Forest Walks Lodge from the township of Meander, south of Deloraine.
