Terms & Conditions
Breakfast is included in all rates when booked on moiwalodge.com. There is no breakfast available for cottage bookings in summer (1 April to 30 Nov).
Check-in time is 2pm. Check-out time is 10am.
Children 3 and under stay free. Please show passports to verify child ages.
Standard Twin and Triple rooms all have private washbasin and toilet. Twin room with mountain view has shared washbasin and toilet. Family rooms have private ensuite with shower and toilet. Dorm rooms and twin/triple rooms have shared shower facilities (one large female shower room with 5 shower cubicles, and one large male shower room with 5 shower cubicles). Cottages have private toilet/shower facilities.
Towels and linen are provided for all room types.
Payment Policy
For bookings made directly with Moiwa Lodge, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any reservation. Full payment is required 60 days before arrival, or at time of booking if within 60 days. Final payments will be taken automatically from the card used to make the booking unless we are advised otherwise in advance.
Bookings made through other sources have more stringent terms, so please read your booking conditions carefully.
All card payments are processed by Moiwa Lodge's card facility in Australian dollars. It will appear on your card statement as 'Moiwa Lodge Beaumaris'.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing. Your payments are non-refundable.
A 100% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations made within 60 days of check-in.
Free COVID-19 cancellation conditions: For new bookings made on moiwalodge.com after 24 March 2021, for stays between Dec 1, 2021 - Mar 31, 2022, if your home government or the Japanese government restricts you from honouring your booking, we will refund you, provided the cancellation and restriction are made at least 30 days before check-in.
In the case of a COVID-19 cancellation listed above, you will have the option of:
A) a refund in full, or;
B) any monies paid to be credited to a new or existing future booking with an additional 10% booking discount.
We recommend you take out travel insurance that covers you for any unforeseen cancellations. Cancellation conditions apply in full for any amendments made within 60 days of scheduled check-in.
