The 13th Apostle Backpackers

We are the closest hostel to the 12 Apostles, Australia’s most picturesque and iconic tourist attraction, and are placed right in-between the Port Campbell and the Otway National Parks. We are 15 minutes from Port Campbell, or if you are leaving Melbourne, it is a scenic 3 hour drive along the Great Ocean Road.

Great accomodation, clean and simple at reasonable prices, a common room, fully equipped kitchen and lounge area. Large balcony with beautiful views and an outdoor cooking area perfect for those wanting to cook their own feast and enjoy the atmosphere.

A few hundred metres to the Gellibrand River for a swim, and a short walk to Champagne Heads, a giant secluded beach with magnificent views, which offers the opportunity to see some of our most famous wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, ecidnas, many types of birds and even seals.

We offer free breakfast and off street parking and we are just across the road from the local pub which also offers great meals.
