Abelia House
Abelia House is a romantic hideaway, owned by Kate and David and is situated just 5 minutes from the centre of Byron Bay by car and 10 minutes from the old heritage town of Bangalow. It is set amid the quiet and tranquil beauty of Woodlands Sanctuary on 100 acres of stunning forested bushland, away from the frenetic pace of Byron Bay. All rooms have air conditioning and feather toppers on bed mattresses for the ultimate in sleep comfort as well as feather pillows.
Woodlands is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, with Wallabies, Koalas and many rainforest birds. There are several beautiful walks on the property through the forest, or if you feel like relaxing there is a large shady veranda on which to sit and enjoy the quiet beauty of your surrounds.
A complimentary breakfast box is placed in your room at the beginning of your stay for your first mornings breakfast.
Check in is from 3pm up until 7pm, if you would like to check in later please let us know in advance.
As we are a quiet and romantic location we do not accommodate children of any age or any pets, sorry. There are also no TVs and no smoking in the rooms.
Byron Bay offers safe beaches, great surfing, natural beauty, many cafes and restaurants, lots of yoga classes, markets and so much more.
There is an excellent golf course close by.

ALL GUESTS MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID19. Vaccination certificates must be emailed or SMSed before check in date.
Check In is from 3pm up until 7pm, NSW TIME (NSW is one hour ahead of Qld. From Oct 4 to April 4), if you would like to check in later please let us know well in advance.

We do not accept bookings after 7PM.
Payment Policy
Payment is normally taken a few days before the free cancellation date. Please make sure you have enough funds in account to cover full cost of booking. In Peak times it may be taken earlier.
Cancellation Policy
DEFAULT POLICY
Up to 7 days before checkin there is no charge for cancellation. After that time there are no refunds except for COVID restrictions. In peak periods this policy may be different. Credits or refunds can be arranged for situations involving COVID 19 lockdowns etc.
JANUARY 1st to 15th
10% Refundable Deposit until 30 days before checkin then full amount will be taken. Covid19 lockdown situations will be refunded.
