Adelaide Hills Retreats offers two distinctively luxurious Retreats, set amongst beautiful countryside in the heart of the Adelaide Hills- an easy 30 minute drive from Adelaide.
The Nest will "wow" you with contemporary decor, expansive country views, and abundant birdlife! It is the perfect spot to spend your precious time out indulging in the deep double spa bath which boasts views out towards Mount Lofty! Allow time to stand still and just 'be' in the beautiful natural setting, with all the luxuries of a perfect hideaway!
Stay in a luxury Villa inspired by the essence of the Mediterranean. Set amongst an established garden, the pillared Terrace overlooks this relaxing vista. Enjoy the tranquility and the romance of your own Villa, with a deep double spa bath, log fire, many other quality appointments, and luxury features. You'll want for nothing- it's all here!

Terms & Conditions
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19-
If you are considering booking from Inter-State, we would just like to refer you to our "Covid related cancellation policy" This is so you are familiar with what will happen when Covid 19 triggers the SA Government to enforce any restriction which may then prevent you from being able to enter South Australia.
After November 23rd, 2021, The SA Government opened the border to all Australian States and Territories to any double vaccinated traveler. If you are making an inter-state booking, we assume that you are fully vaccinated, in order to enter the State. Please be familiar with other factors that the SA Government may impose, that may still prevent you from being able to fulfill your booking....whether you are from an area that is considered high risk, for example.
South Australian Guests- please be aware of the current conditions that may affect your ability to fulfill your booking also. Close Contact Isolation, imposed tightening of restrictions, etc. Please familiarize yourselves with our Cancellation policy - especially if your booking is less than 30 days prior to arrival...please see below for specifics on this.

Upon accepting a Booking with Adelaide Hills Retreats, it is understood and agreed upon that:
The intention of your stay matches that which we provide.
A peaceful and tranquil Retreat experience, enjoying the beautiful expansive country views and nature. It is our intention to provide you with exceptional luxury accommodation for couples seeking a relaxing country getaway. If this is you, then our property is just the place for you to enjoy!
Our Check-in time is from 3:00pm on your arrival day
Our Check out time is up to 11:00am on the morning of departure.
Visitors:
The number of Guests booked (2 Paying Guests in the Nest, or up to 4 Paying Guests in Villa Lemoni) are the only guests allowed on the property. No extra visitors are entitled to come onto the property- it is certainly not a venue for a gathering- we are a peaceful Retreat that suits the needs of couples seeking tranquility and relaxation!
If you are a Bride booking your small bridal party (Total of 4 Guests in Villa Lemoni) the night before your Wedding, please call Mandy on 0416 102 121 to chat about the logistics of having your hairdresser, makeup artist, photographer, and any other person who may need to come onto the property to support you, prior to you leaving for your Wedding Ceremony. We will make allowances for the morning of your Wedding with a minimal number of essential visitors, but we just need to know who will be on the property, and when. Thanks!
Pets:
No pets are allowed onto the property at all. (If you have a dog or a cat that requires boarding, we can certainly recommend some reputable local boarding places for your pet. Our Retreats are not a place to bring pets.)
Allergies:
We provide feather and down quilts in winter, lighter woolen quilts in summer, but all our sleeping pillows are hypo-allergenic. If you are allergic to anything that you feel might come up during your stay, we would appreciate knowing about it PRIOR to your stay, so that we can do our best to provide the absolute best scenario for you. Pollen is a big one up here in the Hills in spring, so if you are susceptible to a bit of hayfever, then we recommend packing a packet of antihistamine and bringing it with you.
Dietary Requirements:
With so many different dietary requirements now, it is far near impossible to cater to every preference of the vast array of dietary preferences. We have created a list of all the provisions we supply our Guests, on a Blog on our website at:
These are the provisions we will happily supply you. If anything on that list isn't to your preference, we will happily remove it for you. If then you require anything different from what you see on our provisions list, you are very welcome to bring it yourselves for you to enjoy.
We are sorry, but we no longer offer extra shopping for specific items to cater to Vegan or Vegetarian Diets.
We are really looking forward to your arrival and looking after you during your stay! There is a lot here to discuss, but we work hard to provide the best possible experience for our Guests!

Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is arranged at the time of booking
The remaining 50% is due, 30 days from arrival day.
Our booking system automatically charges 50% on booking, however, if your reservation falls within this "30 days before arrival day" window, we will manually charge the remaining 50% when we attend to your booking.
If your reservation falls outside the "30 days from arrival" window, we will charge your Credit card automatically 30 days from arrival date, then send you another notification, stating that we have completed that payment, showing a nil balance owing.
(Your Credit Card details are then automatically wiped from our system, 7 days after your departure date.)
Of course, if you wish to arrange the balance payment differently, please feel welcome to get in touch with us to arrange an alternative means of payment. (we accept direct transfer EFT into our Bank Account if you would prefer.)
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations notified MORE than 30 days prior to arrival day will be entitled to change the date of the booking, or to a full refund. Refunds are to be strictly credited to original credit card or bank account used.
CANCELLATIONS NOTIFIED 30 DAYS OR LESS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL:
If a cancellation is received inside of 30 days from arrival, this is the process that will be taken....
1: Your booking will be removed from the online booking system immediately when your cancellation is received, with the view of trying to re-book your dates to another group. (It is not automatically cancelled at this point)
2: The nights we are able to re-book, will be available to be refunded to you, or towards a Gift Voucher to make a new reservation within 12 months of your original booking.
3: If we are able to re-book all the existing nights you had booked, then we will be able to refund or re-book your entire stay. If we can only partially re-book your original nights booked, we can then refund the amount we received for those booked nights or arrange a Gift Voucher for another stay to that amount, within 12 months.
Unfortunately, if we are not able to re-book any of your booked nights to another group, then all monies paid will be forfeited. Please be assured we will do all we can to re-book those nights for you though!
COVID RELATED CANCELLATION POLICY:
A Covid related Cancellation received within 30 days from arrival, is managed as follows:
If WE need to cancel your reservation due to Government directions announcing a local area Lockdown, for the time that you have booked, forcing us to shut, then we will be happy to refund your monies paid or offer you a Gift Voucher to be used at another time in the next 12 months from your original booking.
If YOU need to cancel your reservation due to:
1: An official Government enforced COVID Border Closure, preventing you from being able to enter South Australia,
2: Or you are a SA resident who has been exposed to someone with Covid 19 as a close contact, and have been instructed to isolate, or tightening of restrictions prevents you from being able to fulfill your attendance. Please refer to the cancelation procedure above as to the process we'll take to manage your cancellation.
3: The SA Government creates a directive of any kind that causes our Guests to not be able to attend their booking.
With the uncertainty of travel at the moment, and the sudden halt it can make to plans, (especially inter-state travel) WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE to provide protection against loss due to sudden airline cancellation, personal illness, hospitalization, injury etc.
Travel Insurance will cover you for many of the uncertainties that prevent you from travelling at the time you have booked.
We cannot refund your monies paid if you fall sick, or your plane gets cancelled etc, and you need to cancel less than 30 days from arrival. You will need to call on your Travel Insurance for compensation if anything like this occurs.
Important note re COVID-19.
Border closures due to Covid 19 clusters/ hotspots may not be covered by travel insurance. This is just a risk of traveling interstate at the moment.
You are welcome to cancel this booking immediately if you do not wish to take this risk, but once your booking sits within the 30 day window prior to arrival, we can't offer an instant refund if there is a Covid occurence that prevents you from being able to check-in on your booked dates.
As mentioned, we of course will try and re-book your existing dates, but in our experience, Covid works with very little lead time, preventing our Guests from attending a booking that is only a couple of days away. It is very difficult to re-book nights with a short lead time unfortunately.
We are sorry- we started off being lenient in this and refunding 100% of all bookings, if covid reasons prevented travel, but being a small family business, we just cannot sustain this open ended policy any longer.
