Terms & Conditions

All rooms contain 4 (Four) beds and are sold with a maximum occupancy of 4 (Four) people.
Any additional people in any room will Forfeit the accommodation rights and NO refund will be applicable. The guests will have to leave immediately. Akla is not designed to handle more than 20 (Twenty) people at one time and the Bedrooms are not big enough for more than 4 (Four) people.
This Policy is for the comfort of all guests staying in the lodge.

All credit cards accepted & attract a 2% transaction fee. If you wish to pay by direct deposit please email Sam at the time of booking & request an invoice - sam@carolineservicedapartments.com otherwise payment will be processed to the credit card provided.

All guests are required to adhere to posted signage relating to the use & upkeep of the shared facilities. Rooms are required to be cleaned before check out in line with checklist posted on the back of the bedroom door. Occupancy of Akla Ski Club is granted under the acceptance of the above terms & conditions.

COVID-19
Should current Covid-19 restrictions change your booking may need to be modified or cancelled.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation must be made in writing. Payments are refundable (less a 20% administration fee of the total amount) up to 60 days prior to arrival. If less than 60 days notice is given, no refund is applicable. ANY alterations to reservation dates, (subject to availability) after confirmation will incur a $100.00 process fee. General refunds are at the discretion of the Akla Booking Secretary. Note: Any cancellation will incur a minimum administration fee of twenty (20%) percent of the overall amount of the reservation. Cancellations are not accepted due to weather conditions.
“Ski Guarantee”:
Akla Ski Club provides a ski guarantee package that gives you a money back guarantee on all prepaid accommodation in the event that insufficient snow cover prevents the "Ski Guarantee" lifts from operating within three days of the scheduled arrival date. The "Ski Guarantee" covers a wide range of beginner and intermediate ski areas. The lifts covered by the guarantee are; Blue Bullet 1 Quad Chair, Blue Bullet 2 Quad Chair and/or Abom Triple Chair, Wombat Quad Chair. Plus ONE of the following lifts: Summit Quad Chair, Howqua Quad Chair, Koflers T-Bar or Chamois Double Chair. Please note that the following conditions (exclusions) may apply; Lift closure due to weather conditions, mechanical breakdowns or equipment failure Refunds are subject to any booking fees or commissions payable.
“Ski Guarantee” Refund Procedure:
If the "Ski Guarantee" is applicable three days prior to the scheduled date of arrival, and guests decide to not come to the Resort, written notification must be received by The Akla Booking Secretary within this period to receive a refund. Refunds are only issued by Booking Secretary Akla Ski Club.
