Welcome to Arthurs Pass Motel and Lodge.
Located in the centre of Arthurs Pass village which is nestled in the heart of the National Park, surrounded by mountains. Wake up to the call of Kea, New Zealand's Famous Mountain Parrot.
Accommodation on offer varies from 3 Deluxe King rooms in the lodge, a Twin Deluxe room in the lodge, 2 x Queen Studios, and the very popular Apartment in the lodge.
The rooms are all modern with very comfortable beds, warm modern bathrooms and fantastic showers! The lodge also offers a comfortable dining room, as well as a well equipped shared kitchen.
Walks in the National Park start as close as 5 minutes away, including the very popular Trip Advisor winner Avalanche Peak climb and the spectacular Devils Punch Bowl Falls. Shopping nearby is the unique and wonderful Avoca By Design Gift Shop, Arthurs Pass Cafe and Store stocking some supplies. The Wobbly Kea cafe next door will take orders until 7.30pm and the Bealey Hotel serves affordable wholesome food throughout the evening, the bar is open until the last patron leaves.
Across the road is the most divine stone Chapel of the Snows, a well-loved spiritual venue for weddings or quiet reflexion.

Arthurs Pass Motel and Lodge has no facilities for extra beds in the rooms.
This property is NOT suitable for children, toddlers, or infants.
No smoking or pets inside the buildings.
Group bookings are welcome for family reunions, weddings, and retreats.
Covid Policy:
We require all guests to maintain standards as outlined by the NZ Government's COVID-19 Protection Framework and also as noted in this pandemic action plan.
From 3 December 2021, all guests, visitors, and contractors at the entry point must provide verification of vaccination status via the NZ verifier app or a hard copy of your QR code or a legal exemption at the time of check-in or entry to the Lodge. Children under the age of 12 years staying in 'Slashes' who cannot be vaccinated will be exempted.
Check-in/out: Guests & staff will be required to wear a face-covering and maintain social distancing protocols of 1 meter. After each check-in/out, the area of reception will be wiped down, in addition, any touchpoints such as EFTPOS touchpads will be wiped down. Contact tracing:
