Located an easy three hour drive from Perth in the heart of the Blackwood River Valley this beautiful property is situated 1km from the village of Balingup and is adjacent to the world famous Bibbulmun Walking Track.
Jalbrook, the premier retreat in the Blackwood River Valley, is a private haven of peace and tranquillity. The property can accomodate 28 guests in comfort. Jalbrook Lodge is a spacious family or group accomodation with private spa and large deck and is the ideal spot for a wedding group or group of friend's. There are 6 deluxe rammed earth cottages nestled on our tranquil property, all within easy walking distance of the Balingup village centre.
Harmonious, beautifully appointed purpose built cottages are set amongst exquisite cool climate gardens showcasing a wide range of deciduous trees, shrubs and thousands of bulbs for all seasons. The gardens are dotted with interesting sculptures to entice you to wander the property, meet and greet our exquisite resident alpacas and be captivated forever.
This is the ideal destination to relax- rejuvenate- and reconnect with each other.

Jalbrook Lodge is the perfect spacious accomodation for groups of friends, pre-wedding bridal parties or corporate/team gatherings. The accomodation is both spacious and tastefully equipped. Hotel linen, towels, robes and spa towels for all guests.
Master bedroom can be set to King or Twin Long Singles with ensuite shower room, toilet and walk in robe. Or with the inclsuion of trundle singles can be made into a triple or quad room.
There is an additional pair of twin bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge. Separate large bathroom with rolled topped bath and shower cubicle and plenty room for hair/make up artist make The Lodge the perfect pre/post wedding house.
Outside a large covered verandah with beautiful garden views, long table to seat 12 and private spa makes it a great social space for any occasion; Baby shower, Special Birthday
Add a grazing table or 'in house' massage to make it extra indulgent.
Please note this accomodation is NOT suitable for Bucks/Hens Parties; our Estate is for the discerning guest who has consideration and respect for the ambience of our peaceful paradise. Noise is to be reduced after 10pm. ENTIRELY NON-SMOKING/NO PETS VENUE. Please call to discuss if The Lodge is suited to your intended stay.

Check-in available 24 hrs. Check in Time is from 1400 on day of arrival. Check out is by 1100 on day of departure. Instructions are provided for guest arrivals outside staffed times.
Wood burning fires in all cottages. Caution is to be exercised by all guests using fires.
Prior permission is required for children and teens. Our property is not suited to playground behaviour; it is intended to be quiet and peaceful for guest enjoyment and relaxation. You may choose to book the entire property to hold a private function or party.
Payment Policy
A deposit of 50% of the total cost is payable at the time of making the booking. Balance is payable on arrival
Cancellation Policy
If the booking is cancelled within 30 days of the check in date the deposit paid is forfeited unless the cottage can be re let.
If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to check in date a $50 cancellation fee is incurred
If the booking is deferred to a later date no cancellation fee is applicable
