How to book your stay:
1) select your date (a minimum of 2 nights is required to book)
2) if 'sold' the cottage is already booked, if the date indicates a 'room cost', it's available - hover your mouse over the cost for rate inclusions
3) click on the 'room cost' for the check-in date, add number of cottages, add check-out date to determine if the entire stay is available - Step 1
4) select the number of guests (the 'room rate' above relates to a minimum of 2 GUESTS and changes when guests are added to the booking - maximum 4 adults + 1 child on a foldaway bed). Your cottage is set-up to accommodate the number of guests on your booking - please contact us if you need to alter number of guests - Step 2
5) 3+ mid-week 12% off (select the rate option, and if available for 3 nights, the discount applies to the 'room cost')
6) Pet friendly - please note Kurrajong is our only pet friendly cottage - maximum 2 dogs and it does not include a dog run - when walking your dog/s on the property please do so on a lead as wildlife passes through at any time and for the comfort of all guests, take them with you when touring Mudgee. Please advise if you're bringing a dog/s on your booking.

Guests love our location:
Located just 6 minutes from Mudgee, Bandalong Cottages offers the best of both worlds: close enough to town to whip in for a coffee, yet far enough away to experience the quietness of the bush, 35 catalogued birds (incl blue wrens), kangaroos, wallabies, wild goat and deer that pass through, and majestic night sky (your cottage has a 'star-gazing pack' for use on open paddocks, or on your cottage balcony).

Nestled among 33 acres of Australian bush, and open paddocks, Bandalong includes 3 x 2 bedroom Cottages (same layout but different eclectic lux fixtures and fittings) with all the inclusions needed to escape your everyday.

Perfect for a family get together, celebration, reunion as sleeps 12 guests + 3 children:
Each cottage can sleep 4 guests + one foldaway bed can be added to a bedroom for a 5th child. Please advise on your booking form if you require a: foldaway bed; portacot; highchair and baby bath for your stay).

Stringybark and Cypress Cottage have 2 x queen beds, Kurrajong Cottage has 1 x queen bed + 2 x long single beds that can be converted to a king bed.

Your private north-facing cottage is approx 40 metres apart from the next, so individual travellers can truly experience privacy and your own space, plus groups are close enough to move from cottage to cottage, but far enough to enjoy some quiet time.

You don't need to 'pack the kitchen sink':
Each cottage is supplied with hotel-grade/commercially laundered linen, high-end Sealy bedding, plenty of wood to really get the slow combustion fire going, reverse cycle air conditioner, full-sized fridge, original artwork, and a well-equipped kitchen inc cooktop and oven, plus Weber BBQ (gas). The supplies mean you can really relax at the end of your touring day, and enjoy local produce collected on your Mudgee adventures. A full list of inclusions is emailed on your booking.

Creature comforts in every cottage include:
- 2 + 2.5 seater couch
- Slow combustion log burning fire
- Reverse cycle air conditioning
- Electric blankets and extra doonas (cottages are insulated and retain heat)
- TV - DVD - CD Player
- Coffee machine (with pods)
- Popcorn machine (with corn)
- Essential kitchen equipment
- Laundry facilities: washing machine and drying line on site

Let's talk about WIFI:
Fortunately/unfortunately (pending on your reason to 'escape to the country'), we’re unable to provide WIFI facilities as mobile/tower reception is very poor outside of Mudgee town. We've investigated every possible piece of technology to provide WIFI however, we are unable to source a strong enough reception. Pending on your telco provider, cottages may have some mobile reception, plus there are some key locations on the property with good reception, incl ClayCat Pottery shop/guest laundry building at the front of the property.
