Property Information
Bellthorpe Stays
Not far from Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland, is the tranquil leafy property "Bellthorpe Stays", with it's own private walking tracks, waterfalls, wildlife and is a working cattle property. Surrounded by the richness of sub-tropical rainforest with all of its resident wildlife including the majestic Rifle birds, the colourful Wompoo pigeons, inquisitive Bowers birds, and playful Robins and Wrens. The 400 acre property is located next to the Bellthorpe National Park.
We have four Cabins (a one-bedroom Cottage and three two-bedroom Cabins) spread across the centre of the property. Bellthorpe Stays is a great place to get away from it all and take in the relaxing atmosphere. Accommodation is self catering for singles, couples, family or friends from one to 5 people plus extras. The Cabins have wide decks with great local views, a well equipped kitchen, air conditioned and wood heater.

Terms & Conditions
Dogs permitted by prior arrangement (no cats - ever). Common sense rules apply.
Payment Policy
Standard bookings: A 50% deposit is required on booking and can be bank deposit or credit card. Balance paid by cash or credit card on arrival, or by bank deposit 2 days prior.
Cancellation Policy
Standard bookings: If you have to cancel, please give us at least 14 days notice before arrival date (refund all except admin fee of $80). If cancelled within 14 days, 50% of the tariff is payable, or within 5 days, 100% of the tariff is payable, if we don’t receive another booking. For "No Show", full tariff is payable.
Consider having travel insurance in the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation due to COVID:
- If a new government directive prevents guests from travelling, we will give a 100% credit to affected guests.
- If a guest is unable to travel due to taking a COVID test, we will give a credit where proof of a positive result is provided.
- If there is an extended government directive, a full refund may be given at our discretion.
- Bellthorpe Stays is part of Moreton Bay Regional Council, which has been deemed to be part of Greater Brisbane.
