Corang River Farmstay is located near Braidwood and Nerriga in the Southern
Tablelands of NSW. We are set high on the hill of our 285 acre Wildlife Sanctuary and native bush property, and you are blessed with magnificent views right across to the Budawang Ranges.
The property is bordered by the Corang River where you can swim, kayak and fish. Bring your mountain bike and walking shoes and explore the flora and fauna. We are the perfect place for family and friends to disconnect and take time out for themselves and each other.
Enjoy a glass of wine on the front deck and just feel your worries slip away as you soak up the quiet and the darkness, no street lights or passing traffic here, and gaze at the stars.
Embrace the lack of technology, with only limited WiFi and no cable TV , and just enjoy your surroundings and each others company.
Comfortable rural accommodation with an open plan kitchenette and living / dining area.
In the kitchen you will find supplied - various cooking implements supplied such as small and large grill, microwaveable egg poacher, omelette maker and sandwich press / toaster. There is no stove / oven. There is an outdoor undercover area with gas BBQ for guest use ( gas bottle supplied) . BBQ tools and oil etc are supplied for you.
Continental breakfast goods are supplied for guests, incl 2 or 3 litres of milk (dependant on number of guests), various cereals, 2 litres juice, farm fresh eggs(seasonal) loaf of bread and yoghurt.
Guests have their own entrance from the front verandah and access to most of the 285 acres including the river. There are two bathrooms, a fireplace and out door seating.
Your privacy is totally respected and as owners we are very non intrusive. We ask that guests also show us the same courtesy.

NOTES: We are a Wildlife Sanctuary - no pets permitted. Please do not ask as refusal may offend.
Corang River Farmstay is a self contained part of the main homestead. The owners live in the main homestead.
Our larger dog is secured in our yard, and our 2 smaller dogs are quite often outside.
The property is quite remote and is accessible via a 2km dirt driveway off the main road. This driveway is accessible by all vehicles except in very adverse weather.

There is plenty to do during your stay, or you may choose to just relax and do as little as possible.
Go for a walk and explore the riverbank—take a dip in warmer month
Have a picnic by the river or anywhere on the property - we can arrange supplies for you and even set up—contact us
Explore the property and its natural beauty, take your camera.
Bushwalking in the National Parks
BBQ out on the verandah or the yard
Enjoy the sunrise on the verandah
Bocce on the lawn
Enjoy a movie—great stock of DVDs supplied
Read a book—again, huge supply.
Watch for the local bird life, its a bird lovers paradise. Spot a wombat, echidna or spy on the kangaroos—we have two white kangaroos on the property, if you are very lucky you may spot them!

Guests note: access to our property off the main road is a 2km hilly dirt driveway. Motorbike riders and smaller vehicles will need to take care. Cyclists will either love it or hate it :)

HOUSE RULES

By booking a stay you are deemed to agree to the Code of Conduct for the Short Term Rental Accommodation Industry. A hard copy can also be found in our guest folder in the farmstay.
At Corang River Farmstay we like to ensure that our guests have the opportunity to make the most of their stay, and to relax and thoroughly enjoy the peace and serenity that our property and the area offers. Under no circumstances will loud music, rude or disruptive behaviour towards others or the hosts be tolerated. In these instances, albeit very rare, and as a last resort, we may ask you to leave the property. If a guest is requested to leave the property due to any of the above circumstances occurring, , there shall be no recourse for a refund of any type.
Quiet hours are between 10pm - 7am.
Guests are responsible for any breakages or other damage that may occur during your stay. Please report any damage or breakages to your host/s prior to check out. Any damage or breakages found after a guest has checked out will be charged to your credit card and you will receive an email advising of such and outlining the cost and reason for the charge. Any charges to be taken will be done so within 48 hours of checkout. Please note that at this time we DO NOT charge a cleaning fee as extra. However, if upon your checkout linen or furniture is found to be stained or damaged to the extent that it is no longer usable you will be charged a fee to replace it. There is a $200 security deposit required to be paid 14 days prior to check in. This will be refunded back to you within 5 days if, upon inspection after checkout, everything is found to be in order.
There is no motorbike / quad bike riding permitted at the property at any time. No shooting or hunting permitted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Check out time— BY 11.00 am
Subject to availability, these times may be varied upon discussion with your hosts should you need to arrive earlier for a function etc, or should you require a later check out. Fees may apply.

Payment Policy

PAYMENT POLICY
A deposit of $100 is required upon booking direct.
There is a $200 security deposit required to be paid prior to check in, refundable once a checkout inspection has been carried out and if there are no issues.
If your booking is for a check in within 14 days, then FULL PAYMENT is required at time of booking. NO EXCEPTIONS.
This can be payed by direct deposit into our business bank account. Guests who book via our website will have the final payment charged to the cc/ debit card on file. NOTE - a 2% surcharge applies for cc/ debit card payments.

NOTE - YOUR BOOKING WILL NOT BE HELD OR CONFIRMED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
The balance remainder is due 15 days prior to your check in date.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY
We want our guests to enjoy their stay, however we do understand that life happens and things do not always go as planned, particularly with the current Covid19 situation.
Whilst we will try to be accommodating in the majority of circumstances, please understand that we are not always in a
position to do so.
In case of cancellation by the guest, the below will apply unless otherwise advised by management:
Cancellations 5 days or less prior to check in will forfeit 100% of the total booking cost.
Non arrivals - no refunds.
Cancellations 6 -21 days prior to check in will receive a 50% refund of any monies paid.
COVID19 CANCELLATIONS - any cancellation due to a guest becoming unwell, or being directly affected by Covid19 rules will receive a credit note valid for 12 months from date of original check in. Valid from August 2020 until a date to be confirmed.
In the case of a severe weather event (IE flooding) which restricts access to our property, you will be contacted as soon as possible and have the option of a change of date or full refund.
