Property Information
De Preaux Lodge is a Luxury Farmstay located in the Waikato, North Island New Zealand.
Ian & Joy provide a lovely homely atmosphere in a beautiful scenic spot 5 minutes from Matamata. 15 mins from the famed Hobbiton and centrally located to Rotorua, Tauranga, Hamilton, and only 2 hours South of Auckland City.
Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, the light and airy rooms with wonderful views over the countryside and hills, take a walk down to the river and get to meet the farm animals.
Meet the household pets - Billy the miniature fox terrier and Edmund the English blue cat, both with charming personalities bound to win anyone over.
Breakfast is provided with farm fresh eggs from their own hens and a variety of cereals and fruits.
Teas and splendid coffee available also. We have a Spa pool available for our guests to use for free.
At De Preaux we take seriously our environment and maximise this with using all eco-friendly products, warming the Lodge through Solar Panels and our large wood burner, from fire wood all sourced off the farm.
