Emus Beach Resort
Located directly across the road from the beach, Emu's Beach Resort features an outdoor swimming pool and a bar with a covered BBQ area. Facilities at Emus Beach Resort include guest wifi, TV room, dining room and card-operated laundry. Guests can cook their own meals in the communal kitchen or take advantage of the cheap BBQs on offer. Emu's Beach Resort is only 1 km from the main street of Emu Park. The hostel is ideally situated to access Great Keppel Island, just a 30-minute ferry ride away. It is a 20-minute drive to Yeppoon. Guests can choose between shared or private rooms, some with private bathroom facilities. Please note that the Share Rooms are for International Passport Holders only. Australian Passport holders cannot book into a Shared Room.

Credit card must be given as a security on the room reservation. Any damages incurred to the room will automatically incur $100 fee.
No arrivals or departures on Christmas Day. Once full payment for the room has been made, there are no refunds.
Resort Dorms and Dorms are available to International Passport holders only. Please don't book a Dorm Bed if you do not have an International Passport as refusal often offends!!
Emus Transfer shuttle from Rockhampton Train, Bus and Airport is available for guests, at a fee. Please book 2 days in advance.
Check in after 2pm and Check Out by 10am. Late check in available on request for Private Rooms only. Please call before 8pm, (reception closing time) to arrange a late check in. Otherwise your booking will be classified as a "No Show" and charged the fee.
**CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS PERIOD:
- 7 days cancellation policy
- Min 2 nights stay over 24th / 25th Dec
- No check-ins on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
- Reception hours vary over the Festive Season. Xmas Eve: 8am to 6pm. Xmas Day: CLOSED. Boxing Day: 10am to 6pm. New Years Eve: 8am to 6pm. New Years Day: 10am to 6pm.
Payment Policy
Full payment of entire stay due upon check in. MC, Visa and Eftpos are accepted. There is a 2% surcharge on MC and Visa transactions.
Cancellation Policy
We hold a strict 48 hour cancellation policy. Please cancel or amend any bookings 48 hours prior to your arrival, or a fee of the 1st nights stay will be incurred. No shows will also incur the same fee.
