French Farm Winery
French Farm Winery ceased being an operating winery in 2008 and now concentrates on great food, b & b accommodation and special occasions.
Our accommodation guests have access to a courtyard and BBQ area with an outdoor jacuzzi.
We have 4 air-conditioned studios all self contained with kitchenette, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and fridge. Complimentary WiFi is available. A complimentary continental breakfast basket will be delivered to your room the night before. Includes bread for toasting, muesli, preserved fruit, fresh fruits, jams, butter/margarine and juice.
Our bistro is open during summer every day for lunch from 12noon and for Dinner, Thursday to Sunday from 5pm. Outside of these hours we can make reservations at other restaurants in Akaroa and Duvauchelle.
With large grounds, meandering streams, bar, jacuzzi, beautiful courtyard/BBQ area, and extensive outdoor seating areas. Private, secluded but not remote with Akaroa only 18mins away by car.
Christchurch is 85 km from French Farm Winery, while Akaroa is 7 km away. The nearest airport is Christchurch International Airport, 43 km from the accommodation.

Terms & Conditions
~COVID-19~
We can only accept guests who are fully vaccinated from COVID-19.
Masks must worn in common areas.
~ Reservations ~
Reservations must be made by someone 18 years or older.
Only children 12 and over are able to stay
Current ID needs to be presented at check in (eg Driver’s License, Passport or 18+ Card).
~ Services ~
There may be an additional charge for any extra servicing.
~ Parties & Excessive Noise ~
To ensure an enjoyable stay for all our guests where reservations are sought with the intent of having a party or function will be not be accepted.
If plans for a party or function become apparent or occur or should excessive noise cause disturbance, then to ensure other guests have an enjoyable stay, immediate notification will be given that the party, function or loud noise is to cease immediately.
Should the party, function or noise continue, then all participating guests will be asked to vacate their room(s) and depart the property immediately. In these circumstances, there will be no refund of accommodation charges for the room.
Payment Policy
~ Card Payment Policy ~
Reservations guaranteed with a valid credit card must be paid on arrival, unless the rate offer states otherwise.
Please note - there is a 2.5% fee charged on Credit Card.
Full payment is required on arrival or as stated in the rate offer.
~ Cash Payment Policy~
Where reservations are not guaranteed by a valid credit card, a bond will be required to be paid at check in.
The bond will be returned in full on departure less any incidental charges and after a suite check.
Cancellation Policy
Where bookings are cancelled within 48 hours of check in there will be a cancellation fee of one nights accommodation.
We are happy to amend bookings within 48 hours of check in subject to the Terms & Conditions of that rate and room availability.
Where a guest does not turn up (ie the booking is not used) a fee of one night’s accommodation will be charged, for each room booked, to the credit card of the person who booked the room(s).
