General Roberts Hotel
Welcome to the General Roberts Hotel.
The GR is a family friendly, warm and cosy hotel that was renovated in 2017. The accommodation and bathrooms were included in the renovations.
Location: The GR is located in New Lambton, Newcastle. New Lambton is a thriving little village which is made up of plenty of boutique shops and coffee shops.
Food: Our highly regarded restaurant is open for lunch and dinner 7 days. There are at least 4 coffee shops within 20 to 100 metres that are open for breakfast.
Newcastle Facilities: The GR is centrally located to the following major facilities:
(a) Wests New Lambton - next door.
(b) John Hunter Hospital (Newcastle Private etc) - 2kms.
(c) Hunter Stadium (home of the Knights and Jets) - 1 km.
(d) Broadmeadow Racecourse - 2 kms.
(e) Broadmeadow Basketball Stadium - 1.5kms.
(f) Newcastle International Hockey Centre - 1 km.
(g) Newcastle Showground - 2 kms.
(h) Newcastle Entertainment Centre - 2 kms.
(i) Lizotte's - 1 km.

Terms & Conditions
Check in - between 2pm and 10pm on the arrival date.
Check out - not later than 10am on the departure date. The room must be left in a neat and tidy condition with all rubbish placed in bins provided. Failure to comply with this condition may result in additional cleaning charges which will be charged to you at cost and charged to your credit card.
Damage/Bond - A credit card authorisation must be provided at check-in. You will be responsible for any theft, damage or loss caused by you and/or to your room during your stay. The costs incurred to remedy such theft, damage or loss will be charged to your credit card.
Noise/Disturbance - You must not cause undue disturbance or noise during your stay. All noise must cease by 10pm. Breach of this term may result in immediate eviction - without refund.
Linen/Towels - we supply linen, pillows, blankets and towels. These must be left in your room on departure. Further linen may be hired through management.
Pets - no pets are allowed at the property.
Additional Guests - only guests nominated and agreed in a booking may stay at the property. No additional guests. If extra guests stay, you will be charged 50% of the rack rate (for each unauthorised guest) and that will be charged to your credit card.
Smoking - is not permitted.
Applicable Rules - you must comply with all applicable rules and directions from management.
Payment Policy
Payment - must be received by 2pm on the day prior to arrival or your booking will be cancelled.
Credit cards - we accept Visa and MasterCard. A 1.5% surcharge applies.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings may be cancelled up to 2pm on the day immediately prior to arrival.
Bookings cancelled prior to that time will be refunded.
There will be no refund for cancellations made after 2pm on the day prior to arrival.
