Half Moon Bay Motel is located in a quiet area of East Auckland. We are right next to the Half Moon Bay Marina, and just 5 minutes' walk from the Half Moon Bay Ferry Terminal.
The nearest supermarket is just 2-minute walk from the motel. While Bucklands Beach and several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Auckland Airport and Auckland City Centre are both around a 30-minute drive away. You can also use Fullers Ferry Service to Auckalnd City!
The motel is also 5-minute walk from Sea Link Ferry Terminial. It is a great idea you can have a day-trip in Waihike Island while you are staying with us!

Please read the full terms and conditions carefully prior to making your reservation. It is assumed with no exceptions that you have fully understood and agreed to all of our terms and conditions once you proceed with your reservation. This Terms and Conditions are updated regularily therefore please ensure you read it everytime before making a reservation.
All guests are required to produce proof of ID (passport, NZ Drivers licence, or Hospitality NZ 18+ Card) on checkin as well as the original credit card used to make the booking .
Payment Policy
The Credit Card used at the time of booking will be held as security. We require a valid Credit Card with matching I.D at check in to enable the guest to stay. The entire booking is required to be paid at the time of check in unless a Credit Account has been approved prior to stay. Without both Credit Card and I.D we are unable to process the check in and failure to present both will be considered as No Show.If the guest fails to arrive or cancel within the terms of the cancellation policy the full value of booking will be charged.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the credit card information is incorrect or false.

Email to booking@hmbmotel.com with the booking reference to cancel your reservation. A confirmation of cancellation will be SENT to you within 24 hours.
Cancelling reservation by phone is not accepted.
We are not responsible for cancellations or altered reservation including, but not limited due to guest input error, strikes, war, fire, floods, or other acts of God and will charge the first night in case of a late cancellation or no show. Appropriate insurances should be obtained to protect you against any unforeseen changes or issues.
