Terms & Conditions

Horizons Motel requires the first night accommodation to be paid upon booking acceptance.
A Visa & MasterCard Surcharge applies for all reservations processed through our on-line booking system.
On-line booking payments can be taken on or after 1:00 pm, on the day of check-in. Our Reception check-in times are from 2:00pm to 6:00pm daily.
For Late or Early check-in requests, please email or telephone the details to our Reception Office on Free Call No: 1800 337 574. If guests are not arriving during our published Reception Hours, prior arrangement must be made for pre-arrival room payment and collection of the key(s) with the Manager.
A copy of our Information folder with our "House Rules & Check-in Information" is in every Room/Suite. All guests are to read, agree to and comply with our rules before commencing their tenure at the Horizons Motel. Failure to comply with 'House Rules' may result in extra charges being applied, and/or termination of the guests stay. A breach of our strict Smoking Prohibition, or Quiet Time (Noise) rules may result in immediate termination of the guests stay.

Payment Policy

Cash, Visa, or MasterCard Credit/Debit cards are accepted for our reservations. The first night’s room rate (non-refundable) must be paid when a reservation is made. We required Photographic Identification (ID) such as a Passport, Drivers Licence
or Adult Proof of Age Card to be shown at check-in. Our Guests Room Account will be debited the Room Rate at the time
of Reservation or may be taken on the day of arrival if it is for multiple nights reservations. If a Third Party is paying the Deposit,
(in person or by telephone) we may require an email authority, including current Photo ID and Address, and an active Credit/Debit card
from the booker, prior to Horizons Motel accepting a reservation. Cash payments may still require Photo ID before acceptance.

Cancellation Policy

Same day 'Reservation Cancellations' will result in forfeiture of the first nights room rate. To avoid loss of any deposit, forty eight (48) hours Notice is required for all cancellation requests.
For Reservations exceeding 3 nights, we require 48 hours notice by email or telephone of the cancellation request.
All multiple-night reservations are secured by way of a deposit for the months of December & January. These reservations cannot be changed after the 1st November preceding the December of the current year. If a guest requests a reduction to the number of nights stay in multiple night stay during December & January, NO REFUND will be given. If an extension to a confirmed booking is requested, the Motel will offer the current room rate before approving the extension of the guest stay. If there is any dispute arising from these bookings, Management reserves the right to cancel the entire booking without compensation being paid to the guest(s).
