Hunchy Hideaway

Hidden in the Hunchy Valley just 2km from Montville village, Hunchy Hideaway has five self contained cottages in a delightful rainforest setting. Each cottage is located to ensure privacy, with elevated private walkways up off the forest floor, bringing nature to your door and spiriting you toward your own secluded hideaway. Light the fire, slip into the double spa, surround yourself with candles and forget the world.

All of our cottages are very private, fully self contained with a barbeque on the deck, double spa bath, a wood fire and air conditioning. The tariff includes your breakfast provisions for the first two mornings, scones for your first afternoon tea and complimentary roses and chocolates. We can also arrange massages in your cottage if you like.

Wake up to the sound of birds or feed the possums on your veranda. Follow the trail down the hill to our own private waterfall or go out and explore the many walking trails around the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Stay in and enjoy our sumptuous gourmet BBQ hamper, bring your own supplies or try out the many Montville restaurants or cafes for lunch or dinner.

Hunchy Hideaway is ideal for a weekend or midweek getaway and perfect for honeymoons. Honeymoon packages can be tailor made for you to include massages, dining vouchers, BBQ and cheese platters with complimentary bubbly.

For a different experience you can also stay at Panorama Cottage in Maleny. Enjoy even more luxury with fluffy robes, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and also a laundry. Indulge yourself in the outdoor jacuzzi while you watch the sun go down over the Mary Valley. Spectacular sunsets are a specialty! Bookings for Panorama Cottage do not include breakfast. This cottage is completely self catering.
