Moteliers are subject to the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLCFT). It is our job to identify you. Please do not be offended when we ask for ID
All bookings that reserve two rooms or more will be asked to pay a deposit
Cancellation policy:
We do not charge a fee for cancellation unless you cancel your booking during the times stated below:
• Cancellation Fee – None.
• 48 hour Cancellation Fees - 20%
• 24 hour Cancellation Fees - 50%
• Same-day Cancellation Fees or during your planned stay - NO REFUNDS **FULL CHARGES APPLY**
Unpaid Accounts:
All unpaid accounts and cancellations that incur fees will be sold to a 'third party collections' to recover the debt or referred to the disputes tribunal.
Lost property:
If you leave any personal or valuable possessions behind in the room. Call the Hotspot Motel immediately! We will attempt to contact you if you do leave any lost property behind in the room. In the event, we are unable to contact you and we have not heard from you after 7 days, we will dispose of the property. You are also liable for any costs incurred with shipping/posting your valuables to you should we successfully make contact with you regarding your lost property.
Privacy Policy:
Although we require private information about you to complete your booking reservation, we will never share your private details to any third party without your permission, unless required to by law.
Restrictions & Conditions:
You must be 18 years of age or older to book a room or unit at Hotspot Motel unless you have written consent from your parent or guardian.
All transactions will and must be in New Zealand Dollars.
New Zealand legal jurisdiction applies to all transactions.

In the event, you have a complaint please contact us and we will do everything we can to help. Or see the Manager for assistance with your complaint.
Visitors Policy
All visitors of our guest MUST report to reception. If your visitors have not reported to reception and signed the visitor's book, please ensure they do so IMMEDIATELY or they will be asked to leave the property.
Parking Policy:
Parking is allocated one car per park outside your unit. If you have extra vehicles, there is security monitored parking situated in the rear car park of the motel. Parking inside the motel complex is for guests only. Any visitors must park outside the motel complex on the road.
NO Parking Policy:
All visitors are advised not to park in the following designations, or your vehicle will be towed away at your own expense. Guests of Hotspot Motel are expected to ensure their visitors do not breach our parking policy:
In front of the reception, unless you are checking into the motel.
Inside the motel complex (front car park, rear carpark and allocated parking space outside units).
Extra costs:
All prices include GST unless otherwise stated.
There are no other additional costs. Unless you require room service, late checkouts, meals, chargebacks, extra towels, bathmats, facecloths and linen,
Other Terms & Conditions:
You are required to leave the room in a reasonable and tidy condition.
Please remove all your rubbish from the room before departing to avoid further charges.
There are Waste Bins and Recycle Bins provided for your convenience.
You will be charged if any of the room inventories is found to be missing upon cleaning the room. TWMON LTD - Trading as Hotspot Motel reserves the right to change its rates at the discretion of Management
Payment Policy:

1. All guests must pay for their booking in full by the time you have checked-in unless you have arranged it prior with management.
2. All customers must pay a 10% deposit to reserve a room that is more than seven (7) days in advance.
3. Any customers wanting to book three (3) units or more, must pay 50% of the total amount on the invoice owing upon making a reservation.
4. All chargebacks and credit accounts will incur a 10% chargeback fee and administration costs of $5.00
5. All WINZ emergency housing clients MUST pay a Security Deposit of up to the equivalent amount of one week's rent. A client must surrender their WINZ payment card at check-in. The card will be returned at check-out upon inspection of the room. If there are any charges that need to be charged, they will be applied to your WINZ payment card at the point of checkout.
6. Our high season is from October 1st to May 31st you will experience a price increase during this time of the year.
