GUESTS AND NOISE

Guests are asked to leave the premises by 9.30pm please.

The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all of the visitors to their room for the duration of the registered guest's stay. All deliberate and/or reckless acts that result in damage to Kingsgate motel property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel will be charged to the registered guest.

As parking space is limited, visitors vehicles are to be parked outside the complex.

In consideration of other guests, we do NOT allow noisy gatherings or parties in our rooms.

SMOKING AND VAPING

Smoking and vaping is not allowed in the rooms. If you do smoke or vape in your unit, you will be personally charged NZ$300 to cover specialist cleaning and resulting loss of income. Smoking in the unit may result in a fine and/or immediate eviction.

PAYMENT:
Unless otherwise arranged, full payment for your stay is required before or at check-in. A credit card is required to guarantee all bookings (Visa or Mastercard). Unless otherwise stated, this will not be charged before your stay.

PAYMENT METHODS:
Accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS , Cash and direct credit.

CREDIT PAYMENT TERMS:
Accounts are payable by the 20th day of the month following the date of invoice.

Overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid on time. Overdue accounts will attract a credit financing charge of 5% per month

Cancellation Policy

GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations or amendments to bookings must be done in writing by email or phone.
Cancellations can be made up until 2 days (48 hours) prior to arrival without charge. However, any cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will be charged the full cost of the stay,
A credit card number will needed to secure the booking. No payment will taken from this unless a cancellation is within 48 hours.

COVID RELATED CANCELLATIONS

You will not be charged for Covid related cancellations, i.e. sudden lock downs the day before your stay. We ask that you please formally cancel any Covid related bookings by phone or email.

GROUP BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations for Group or Multiple Bookings - A Booking of Multiple Rooms Under One Name (Or Different Names) By One Individual/Company
Cancellations or amendments to bookings must be done in writing by email or phone. Cancellations or amendments with less than 30 days’ notice from 2pm on the check-in day will result in the total amount of the booked accommodation being charged to the guest’s credit card. However we will endeavour to on-sell the rooms and will refund any on-sold room tariffs, minus a one-off administration fee equal to the value of your first night’s accommodation for each room booked.

NO SHOW's

If you haven't cancelled your booking in writing or by phone within the required time and you don't turn up, the full room rate will be charged to your credit card.
