SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT
Our property, as an Eco Retreat, is a smoke-free environment. We respectfully request our guests to adhere to this. If you do wish to smoke, we request that this be done outside in the gardens, away from other guests and the common areas: carport, pool and pathways. Smoking on the decks is also not permitted, as the residue of tobacco odour is extremely difficult to deal with. A deep cleaning fee of of up to $500 will be charged to any guest or their visitors who smoke within the villa (including the deck). This charge may be applied to a guest’s account after departure if evidence of smoking is found.

CHILDREN
The retreat rest has been designed to provide a special place for couples to get away, connect, celebrate special occasions with each other and relax. We want all our guests to share the peace and tranquility of the retreat. The property is thus suited more for adults. Under special circumstances, we may permit children to share with parents, (eg families travelling interstate or from abroad with mature and quiet children). Please request request up front for approval at time of booking. Arrival with children without prior request, may result in the stay being declined without a refund. Each unit does, however, have a queen sized sleeper couch for an additional two guests ,if required. Additional guests will incur a fee per person.

PETS
Unfortunately our development approval from the local Shire was conditional on the retreat not allowing pets. This is aimed and protecting local fauna. We are pet loving couple and there are two very friendly dogs on the property, Bailey and Bella who you can adopt for the weekend. They offer free hugs and cuddles but have been told that they cannot sneak into any of the units!

Payment Policy

Bookings made prior to 7 days of the reservation require a 10% deposit to be paid at time of the reservation.

Bookings will be accepted less than 7 days prior to arrival if accomodation is available. Under these circumstances, payment will be required at time of booking and will be non refundable, unless Changed COVID regulations impact the reservation.

Guests are welcome to pay the deposit in instalments with prior approval.
Full Payment is due 1 week (7 calendar days) prior to the date of arrival. This can also be paid upon arrival, but will require full credit card details to be provided. We value your privacy and financial security and guarantee that credit card details are not retained.

Booking through alternative sites have their own booking and cancellation policies and it is recommended that you carefully read the fine print of these sites. We cannot be held responsible or bound by third party arrangements.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund and Hassle free cancellation if COVID regulations prevent you from taking up your reservation.

We are a small boutique property and cancellations have a significant impact on our business. The deposit is refundable in the event of cancellation made more than 14 days prior to arrival, or 21 days during peak season. After that, cancellation or no-show will attract the full payment. We understand that special circumstances can arise and ask that you speak directly to us.

Please ensure you have proper travel insurance and it covers cancellations. Before you pay for additional insurance, we recommend that you check your credit card's travel insurance, which is usually free.
