Property Information
Leura House is a historic B&B Guest House situated on the highest point in Leura. Originally built by the Lethbridge Family in 1880 as a gentleman's retreat and it is the first house in Leura.
Originally Names Laura's House after the younger daughter, but when the name of the new township was gazetted it was named Leura not Laura, a spelling mistake.
Originally built on 5 acres, the house commanded 360 degree views with a panoramic view of the coastal plains from north of Hornsby to Bowral. The house is a Victorian period house with Italian influence in the design and has two stories, the first level having an almost wrap around verandah.
