Mason Wines

Mason Wines is a family owned vineyard, situated in the Granite Belt winery region that surrounds Stanthorpe in Queensland, dedicated to producing a wine of which Queensland can be proud. Our aim is to develop quality wines with distinct regional characteristics.

Administration House

Situated on our Mount Tamborine property, Administration House is our homely, cosy accommodation at Mason Winery. It is a well appointed house with a queen master bedroom with ensuite at one end of the house, and two further queen rooms and one twin room and an additional bathroom. Though a little smaller than the Wine Makers Cottage, the Administration House comfortably sleep eight (three couples and two singles).
The open plan design is ideal for families or groups, the kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need for your stay including washing machine and dryer. The lounge boasts a cosy log burning stove for those chilly mountain evenings.
The two houses on the property are a great place to prepare for your wedding day, with a whole package that can include a ceremony in the beautiful grounds followed by a feast to remember from our Mason Winery Restaruant.
The restaurant is open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday (bookings essential) and Executive Chef Andrew prepares amazing meals for you to enjoy. Also take the opportunity to sample our award winning wines at the Cellar Door. Our wines are produced at the Mason Winery on the Granite Belt where it is processed and brought down to Tamborine Mountain for you to enjoy.

Wine Makers Cottage

Set quietly back from Hartley Road, up a private drive beside the vines, you find the Wine Makers Cottage – the original residence for the first winery on the Mountain which was Tamborine Mountain Estate established in 1992.
This large four bedroomed house has three ensuite queen rooms, a fourth queen room with additional separate shower room and toilet. The welcoming open plan kitchen family area is fully equipped for your stay and there is a separate lounge with a cosy log burning fireplace.
On this beautiful green property you can enjoy the outstanding restaurant for lunch, Wednesday to Sunday where Executive Chef Andrew prepares an amazing menu. Bookings are essential. Take advantage of the Cellar Door to sample the selection of both white and red wines from the vineyards of Mason Wines, grown and processed on the Granite Belt but here for you to enjoy.

This cottage has all the space for your bridal party to prepare for their special day and we can provide the perfect venue in our grounds for the ceremony and Andrew will prepare the feast for your reception.
