Matilda Motel

Enjoy a quiet peaceful nights sleep at the Matilda Motel with no noisy traffic from the bypass road. The motel has been family owned and operated for twenty years. There is so much to see and do in Winton, from the Age of Dinosaurs to Lark Quarry (dinosaur stampede) to the famous musical fence and many more interesting and fun sights.

The Matilda Motel is located in the centre of town opposite the Waltzing Matilda information centre which houses some of the previous museums displays (until the Waltzing Matilda Centre is rebuilt). The motel is a short enjoyable walk to the main streets shops, hotels and restaurants and centrally located attractions. Beside the motel is the main town swimming pool, wonderful for cooling down on a hot outback day.

All of the rooms are air-conditioned with microwaves, toasters, tea & coffee facilities. Free WI-FI is available as well as a BBQ and pergola area. The guest laundry is available for guests staying at the motel and provides free washing with coin operated dryers or clothes lines. Free airport pick-up from the Winton airport is available by arrangement.
Tours can also be arranged to Lark Quarry and/or the Age of Dinosaurs from reception.

Plenty of off road parking for all vehicle sizes including cars with trailers, tour buses and trucks.
