Mt Warning Estate
Mt Warning Estate is a beautiful 300-acre property at the foot of Mt Warning ( Wollumbin ) in the Tweed Valley of Northern New South Wales. It is a place of fantastic views, heritage buildings, and luxury accommodation. It is ideal for a romantic get-a-way.
Imagine waking up in a luxurious, comfortable king-size bed to some of the best panoramic views of Mt Warning in a luxury cabin that was once the farm dairy. If you want to bring some friends, there is also a queen-size sofa bed for them.
If lounging by a fire is your thing, you have the choice of an outdoor fire, under a giant fig tree with a day bed, or sitting indoors by the wood-burning stove. Why not do both?
If you have had a long day climbing the mountain or touring the Tweed, you can soak in the outdoor bath as you watch the changing moods of the mountain. Alternatively, you can take a picnic and sit on your own private beach on the Tweed River.
More unique experiences await with your food and beverage options. You will be drinking pure mountain spring water and locally produced tea and coffee. You can self-cater in the full-size kitchen and even make a pizza, or bake yourself some bread, in the wood heater oven.

Once the dairy building, now a luxury one-bedroom cabin. This cabin combines touches of yesteryear with all the modern features you expect in high-quality accommodation.
Designed with exposed brick, rustic wooden beams, and large windows that overlook the outdoor firepit and the surrounding mountainside. This cabin is solidity built, well insulated, and designed with comfort in mind. These features have helped create a soundproof space that allows you total peace and quiet.
For those who like to prepare their own feasts, there is a full-size, fully equipped kitchen. In the outdoor dining area, there is a gas barbeque. You also have the rustic option of cooking bread, or a pizza, in the woodburning stove.
Activities you can enjoy are: walking in the Bush Tucker Garden, having an outdoor bath, picnicking by your own private piece of the Tweed River, feeding the cows, sitting by the outside fire with a drink in hand and watching the changing moods of the mountain, or playing some of the lawn activities.
When you are ready to retire for the day, you can settle into the cabin that has been cooled by either the air-conditioning or naturally by letting the breeze blow through. The seating area is perfectly designed to relax and read a book or using the internet and smart tv provided catch up on the latest shows. When you finally head to bed, waiting for you is a very comfortable king-size bed and a selection of pillows.
There are many aspects to this cabin making it more than, 'Just a place to stay for the night'. To discover them all, you will need to book in and head to the Tweed Countryside.

Pets
Unfortunately, as a working farm, for the safety of your pets, we cannot allow them to stay on the property. Service animals are welcome.
Children
Cabin #1 is designed for adults. It is not suitable for young children as there are farm safety issues such as livestock, barbed wire, and very hot fire-places. Older children may be permitted with prior arrangement with the management. We accept no liability or responsibility if children are brought to the property.
Cabin #2 is family friendly but this is a farm and a rural area. After a lot of rain a small creek runs past the cabin. Parents must accept full responsibility for the safety of their children.
Specials
These are available for a limited time only. Please note that these are not our standard rates and are only valid for the specified time period.
Covid Safe - We are compliant by following recommended practices to be Covid safe in our premises. These include deep cleaning, steam cleaning, providing hand-sanitizer, and having a least one day break between guests. Guests who are showing Covid symptoms or have been in a Covid hotspot are asked not to come, and will receive a full refund.
Length of stay
All bookings are for a minimum two-night stay and for the full period of long weekends, Easter and Christmas.
Payment Policy
All bookings require a $200 deposit.
The balance of the account for the accommodation and any extras will automatically be charged via the booking system at check-in using the same details that paid the deposit.
The cost of any breakages and/or missing items may also be charged using the same details for up to 7 days after check-out.
Booking through alternative sites have their own booking and cancellation policies. It is recommended that you carefully read the fine print of these sites. We cannot be held responsible or bound by third party arrangements.
Cancellation Policy
We are a small boutique property, and cancellations have a significant impact on our business. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of amendment or cancellation up to one week prior to arrival. After that cancellation, amendment or no-show will attract the full payment, unless agreed to by management.
In the event of cancellations due to bushfires, flooding, or other natural disasters affecting the property, you will receive a full refund for any accommodation paid for but not used.
Please ensure you have proper travel insurance and it covers cancellations. Before you pay for additional insurance, we recommend that you check your credit card’s travel insurance, which is often free.
