An idyllic sanctuary sprawled over 6-acres, Oyster Cove Chalet is just 25 minutes from Central Hobart and 3 minutes from the Bruny Island Ferry Terminal. The chalet is easily locatable, situated only 500m from the Channel Highway and is on the D’Entrecasteaux Channel opposite Bruny Island, between the townships of Snug and Kettering. During autumn, be instantly renewed the moment you arrive at the chalet, where you’ll be ushered in via our crimson-hued MapleTree-lined driveway.
Oyster Cove Chalet is for travellers who love nature, peace and quiet. There are many native animals such as Tasmanian Native Hens, wallabies, birds, Padamelons, possums who make Oyster Cove Chalet their home, and if you are lucky you just might see them making their way around the property. Terms & Conditions
All accommodation bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by provision of credit card details. You will not be charged for an accommodation booking prior to the date on which you are due to arrive. By providing the credit card details, you warrant that you had the authority to use the credit card and you are authorising Oyster Cove Chalet to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the case of cancellation or no-show penalties as detailed in the cancellation policy.
LOST AND/OR MISLAID ITEMS
Personal items that are lost, damaged, or left behind during or after your stay with us are your responsibility. However, items subsequently found by us after your departure may be returned to you by mutual agreement.
Fair wear and tear - including accidental breakage - is not charged for; however damage to furniture, furnishings , fittings, artwork or the fabric of the buildings will be charged to you at full replacement cost at our sole discretion.
NO PARTY & DAMAGES POLICY
Oyster Cove Chalet is not a party or event venue.
To ensure peaceful enjoyment of Oyster Cove Chalet for us, our other guests and our neighbours (who are our friends) we have a strict "no party" policy.
Should this fundamental condition of occupancy be breached by you and/or the property is left in a dirty, damaged or unreasonably untidy state at the conclusion of your booking (to be determined by us at our sole discretion), you will be charged a cleaning fee of a minimum of $500, plus the full replacement cost of any damaged or lost items of equipment and/or furnishings.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees for accommodation are as follows:
The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up or cancels within 24 hours of arrival date they will be charged the total price of their booking.
No prepayment is needed, however a deposit may be requested during Peak Season.
Cancellations must be made by notifying the Oyster Cove Chalet on +61 3 62674209 between the hours of 8am and 7pm, 7 days a week.
