GENERAL GUIDELINES & RESORT HOUSE RULES

(Safety Guidelines and Restrictions may change depending on the latest memorandum released by the IATF and the Department of Tourism Office of San Juan Batangas)

Travel Guidelines, Restrictions and Requirements
As of November 1, 2021

We can now accept Tourist of ALL AGES coming from GCQ, MGCQ and ALERT LEVEL 3 Areas except for those with comorbidity and pregnant women.

**REMINDER: Guest coming from MECQ & ECQ areas are still NOT ALLOWED by the Tourism Office to be accepted during the said period**

Requirements:

1) Copy of confirmed paid reservation from an accredited resort
2) IDENTIFICATION – Proof of residency from a GCQ, MGCQ & NCR area.
3) MEDICAL CERTIFICATE / VACCINATION CARD
a) Below 18 years old – Medical Certificate issued within 72 hrs from a licensed Physician is required. (Barangay Health Certificate is NOT ACCEPTED)
b) Fully Vaccinated tourist ages 18 years old and above – Vaccination Card is required. Date of 2nd dose should be a more than 14 days prior to arrival. Otherwise, guest will not be considered as fully vaccinated and will be required to present an Antigen or RT-PCR Negative swab test result taken within 72 hours before to arrival.
c) Unvaccinated tourist or partially vaccinated tourist ages 18 years old above is required to present an Antigen or RT-PCR Negative Test result taken within 72 hours before arrival.
4) All tourists are required to pass-by the Tourism Reception Office along Laiya Highway before going straight to the resort. Each is required to do the following:
a) Present the necessary requirements as mentioned above to the Tourism Officer
b) Pay tourism Ecological Fee of Php 20.00 per person
c) Secure a Resort Referral Form as clearance from the Tourism Officer. NO RESORT REFERRAL FORM – NO CHECK-IN.

If any of the following requirements is not met, guests will not be allowed to push through with the accommodation. Reservation deposit is Non-Refundable.

The said travel restrictions and requirements will continuously be implemented unless there is a new guideline released by the IATF or the Tourism Office of San Juan Batangas.

Upon arrival in the resort each guest is required to undergo temperature check, present a valid ID and to fill-up the required CONTACT TRACING FORM.

For the safety of its entire guest, employees and of the whole establishment, the resort has the right to refuse entry of guest with an elevated body temperature of 37.5˚C and above. Guests who may exhibit symptoms of possible COVID-19 virus will immediately be referred to the nearest BHERT for proper assistance and management.

All guests are required to follow the strict safety protocols implemented inside the resort such as proper wearing of face mask and proper social distancing. Guest who are found violating health protocols shall be subjected to appropriate sanctions which includes expulsion from the resort without any refund.

Excess capacity in all Overnight cottages is NOT ALLOWED

In case of children, each cottage can only accommodate a maximum of 2 children ages 4- 6 years old as excess capacity. If guest is with more than 2 children of the said age, they will already be required to rent an additional unit. Infant ages 0-3 year old are Free and charge (Applicable only when no age restriction is allowed by the IATF).

Children ages 7 years old and above are already considered as 1 regular adult and cannot be added as excess capacity (Applicable only when no age restriction is allowed by the IATF).

We only accept Pre-booked Reservations. Walk-in guest are not yet allowed as per Local AITF and LGU of San Juan Batangas.

Overnight Accommodation – STANDARD CHECK-IN TIME=12:00PM/STANDARD CHECKOUT TIME=10:00AM the following day. The resort will not guarantee the availability of cottages and resort facilities to the guest who will arrive earlier than the Standard Check-in time.

All guests are advised to use the resort’s facilities with utmost care. Any guest who would cause damage (soiled or damaged linens, LOST or broken items, etc.) to any of its property shall be charged accordingly.

There is NO RESTAURANT yet inside the resort. Guests are allowed to bring their own food and beverage inside without corkage fees.

Overnight Guests are allowed to cook their own food once they are already checked-in inside their corresponding cottages at 12:00PM.

The resort has its own concessionaire for GROUP MEAL PACKAGE. Minimum number of persons required for the catering service should be at least good for 30 persons. Guests who are interested to avail must inform the resorts reservation office 10 days before their specific target check-in date. We offer standard Packed Meals covering lunch, dinner and breakfast. Buffet service and not yet allowed by local IATF during quarantine period or “New Normal” state. Other catering service suppliers are strictly NOT ALLOWED.

For MEAL PACKAGES, any amendment on the type of package, or request to increase /decrease the number of persons that will avail the meal package SHOULD BE relayed to the resort at least 10 days before the scheduled target date. Any changes below the specified period will not be accepted.

Pets are strictly NOT ALLOWED inside the resort.

Pitching of tent is NOT ALLOWED.

Firearms/deadly weapon or any illegal substances are strictly NOT ALLOWED inside the resort.

Extra electrical appliances brought inside the resort will be charged a minimum fee of Php 500.00 per unit. This includes bringing of rice cooker, electric kettle, electric grilles, electric stove and a like.

Audio component system, audio amplifiers, karaoke or videoke component system and big re-chargeable Bluetooth speakers are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED inside the resort. Mini mobile phone Bluetooth speakers are allowed however the volume will be regulated by the Management so that it would not disturb other guest who would want to relax quietly inside the resort.

Night swimming in the beach is prohibited. Swimming hours is allowed between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM only. Observe and follow beach signs.

Swimming Pool – available 8:00am to 10:00am and 12:00pm to 10:00pm daily. (Mid service cleaning 10:00am-12:00pm) No one will be allowed inside the pool area unless it is officially open and a LIFEGUARD is already on duty.

Proper swimming attire is STRICTLY required inside the swimming pool.

• ALLOWED: Bathing suit, Swimming trunks, Board Shorts or cycling shorts, rash guard.

• NOT ALLOWED: Cotton garments such as T-shirt or Tank tops, Basketball jersey and shorts, Jeans and cut-off denims.

Guests are required and advised to properly secure their own belongings, valuables and vehicles inside the resort. Paseo Verde Beach Resort shall not be held responsible and liable for any lost or damaged guest property inside the resort.

The resort is privately owned, and the management reserves the right to refuse services to anyone. Acts of violence, disturbance and harassment to other guests and resort employees will not be tolerated. In any case, guest/s may have to vacate the resort without refund.

For emergency cases and maintenance assistance, kindly inform the security and management.

Upon arrival and check in, guest who made the reservation are required to present their valid ID and their proof of payment such as copy of validated deposit slip, screenshot of payment for online bank transfers on online reservation vouchers.

Always keep your room key. Lost or misplaced key fee is Php1, 000.00.

Other Fees and charges are as follows:
• Php 20.00 ECOLOGICAL FEE per head shall be paid by the guest at the Tourism Office of San Juan Batangas.
• BUS/TRUCK/Large Coaster Passage Fee - Php 500.00 per unit is being charged by the owner of the access road prior to entering the resort.
• Regular size vehicles such as Cars, Van and SUV – Parking is FREE of charge.

Payment Policy

PAYMENT POLICY
Direct Online Reservation thru website – Full payment is required via credit or debit card payment. Transaction is processed via Paypal Express Checkout - Additional 5% service fee is charged to cover Paypal Fees (non-refundable if cancelled).

Manual request for reservation via phone call or email - 50% DOWNPAYMENT is required upon request for reservation. Remaining Balance should be settled in FULL upon arrival in the resort prior to check-in. Pre-booking/ Reservation Payments are accepted via direct bank deposit or via E-wallet payment (Gcash of Paymaya).

Account details will be provided upon request for reservation.

Reservation should be paid within 24 hours upon receipt of bank/E-wallet details.

Failure to make the deposit within the allotted time may result to automatic cancellation of reservation.

Copy of validated deposit slip or bank email confirmations in-case of fund transfer SHOULD BE sent to paseoverdebeachresort@hotmail.com within 24 hours. Please write the NAME and DATE OF RESERVATION on the deposit slip for proper verification. Our reservations office will send an email confirmation once payment is properly received.

Paseo Verde Beach Resort cannot guarantee the availability of the cottages without any deposit.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellation Request due to reason that the guest was confirmed COVID-19 Positive – Full Refund of deposit will be given (EXCEPT for the 5% additional Paypal Fee charge on Direct Online reservations) provided that the guest will be able to submit a copy of the COVID-19 test result from a DOH Accredited Testing Center as proof of diagnosis. Refund will be given 30 days after receipt of formal request for cancellation via email.
• CANCELLATION request due to ANY OTHER REASONS that is received EARLIER THAN 7 days before the supposed scheduled check-in date – A Processing fee equivalent to 10% of the TOTAL ACCOMMODATION AMOUNT will be deducted from the paid deposit prior to refund. Refund will be given 30 days after receipt of formal request for cancellation via email.
• CANCELLATION request due to ANY OTHER REASONS that is received WITHIN 7 days before the supposed scheduled check-in date – 50% DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. However, we are open to give a 1 time chance to RE-BOOK the said reservation as long as the notice to re-schedule is received at least 3 days before the supposed reserved check-in date. New desired check-in date is subject to the availability of the resorts accommodation facilities.
• NO SHOW on reserved date – FULL paid amount is NON-REFUNDABLE
• Request to downgrade accommodation type is NOT ALLOWED.
• In case of unforeseen events such as resumption IATF Quarantine Lockdown (applicable for new reservations received April 5, 2021 onwards), bad weather, typhoon, earthquake or any unfortunate events CAUSED BY NATURE – Refund is NOT ALLOWED. 1 time RE-BOOKING of reservation is allowed as long as there is an OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT from the LGU or DOT that due to said unexpected calamity, the resort needs to temporary close its operation. New desired check-in date is subject to the availability of the resorts accommodation facilities.
