Penguin Seaside Motel
Widely regarded as the jewel in the North West Tasmania crown, the beautiful town of Penguin is located approx. 20 minutes drive from Devonport (home of the Spirit of Tasmania) in a picturesque beachside location. The Penguin Seaside Motel is located on the Main Street of Penguin which is well known for its great coffee, funky cafes and boutique shopping. Every Sunday the town comes alive with the local market where you can find a great bargain and sample local produce.
Penguin Seaside Motel offers a variety of room types ranging from a Standard Studio to our Deluxe 2 Bedroom Apartment. All rooms have recently undertaken a a full refurbishment with modern furnishings and brand new electrical goods. We are proudly access friendly and offer a 1 bedroom apartment that can cater for up to 5 guests with fully accessible shower facilities.
The beach is just a short stroll along the main street and offers a playground on the foreshore for the kids, a romantic evening walk or a peaceful retreat for some alone time. Whatever your reason to get away the Penguin Seaside Motel offers spacious accommodation centrally located for a stroll or within driving distance of all the North West has to offer. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT:
Check in is from 2pm. Reception is not always manned and the key safe pin number may be given 2 days prior to arrival via email.
Check out is strictly 10am.
NON-SMOKING
In the event of any physical evidence, or residual odour, which indicates that smoking of any form has taken place inside a guest room, a charge of $250 will be made against the credit card provided.
ZERO TOLERANCE PARTY POLICY
In the interests of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests at the motel, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the property. Guests are expected to be quiet after 10pm Immediate eviction with no refund applies to any breaches of this policy.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
Any damage to motel property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
PETS
With the exception of Sight and Hearing assistance dogs, all pets are strictly forbidden inside guest rooms. Any guests breaching this rule will face immediate eviction and a $200 cleaning fee for carpet and any soft furnishings effected.
LEAVE IT AS YOU FOUND IT
We reserve the right to charge for extra cleaning time or repairs if any damage is done to the inventory.
Payment Policy
Full payment of your tariff will be charged at time of booking by your nominated credit card.

Cancellation Policy
If cancelled with more than 7 days notice a $50 service fee applies.
If cancelled with 7 days or less, the full amount is forfeited.
Acceptance of the cancellation policy is a condition of booking and all confirmed bookings indicate the agreement of the above terms.
