Property Information
Port Huon Cottages have been designed around the spectacular views over the Huon River and the Hartz Mountain Range. The Cottages are fully self contained each with its own balcony and BBQ.
We are central to all major attractions in the Huon Valley & Far South including the Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves, Hartz Mountain National Park and Cockle Creek; the southernmost point which you can drive in Australia and on the edge of the World Heritage area. We are just a 45 minute drive to the Bruny Island Ferry Terminal; your access point to the world famous Bruny Island Cruises; and 45 minutes to the Salamanca Markets in Hobart.
*We have a centralised carpark and a short walk is required between the carpark to each unit.

*If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Port Huon Cottages in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.
*Late departure is subject to prior arrangement and availability and extra charges will apply.
Car Parking
We have a centralised carpark and a short walk is required between the carpark to each unit.
Cleaning
We ask that the accommodation is left in a clean and tidy state on departure, with all crockery/utensils washed and put away. In the event of stained/soiled linen or excessive cleaning requirements an extra cleaning fee will be charged to the guest account.
Damages
We expect the accommodation is returned to us in the condition presented on arrival. Breakages or damages not caused by normal wear and tear, theft and loss of property will be charged to the guest account.
Security Bond
A credit card authorization must be provided to Management upon arrival or at confirmation of your Booking.
Unavailability
If the Property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any moneys paid will be refunded in full.
Number of Guests
Only the number of guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property overnight. If additional guests (including infants) stay, extra charges will apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Payment Policy
The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation in the 7 days before arrival.
*Bookings for dates 23 Dec to 23 Jan - The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation in the 14 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 7 days of booking arrival date incur a 100% cancellation fee.

We encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
