Overlooking the harbour entrance of Mill Bay, Ranui Lodge is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Approximately four hours north of Auckland in the beautiful Doubtless Bay is where you will find us.
Just a short walk from Mangonui waterfront offering cafes, restaurants, art and craft studios and much of the original architecture of the historic whaling and trading town. In a sunny and quiet hill-top location, Ranui Lodge offers self catering units, apartment and family bach at very affordable prices.
The Doubtless Bay area extends from Taupo Bay in the east to the Karikari Peninsula in the west. It includes the settlements of Hihi, Coopers Beach, Cable Bay, Taipa and Whatuwhiwhi, with its centre in busy Mangonui.
With a warm sub-tropical climate, over 70kms. of unspoiled coastline and an abundance of safe beaches, Doubtless Bay on the Pacific Ocean is a holiday paradise and an ideal base for a holiday in Northland.
