Ripparoo Lodge
Ripparoo has long been regarded as one of Falls Creek's most popular lodges. We offer very friendly, warm and inviting hospitality with quite likely some of the best food you are going to find anywhere in Falls Creek.
This 19 room traditional style ski lodge is in a prime ski-in ski-out setting and offers breathtaking views of the Bogong Ranges. Only 200m from both Falls Express Chairlift & Gully Chair Lift make it close enough to ski 'home' for lunch. A village bus shuttle stop is located immediately outside the Lodge for those times when roads are not snow-covered.
Ripparoo has a casual homeliness but with an attention to detail that will surprise you! All guest rooms at Ripparoo have bespoke Mountain Ash timber features, ensuites, double glazing and individually contolled Nobo central heating. Linen and towels are supplied. Complimentary guest amenities are provided on arrival. Room configurations vary to accommodate 1-8 occupants. Rooms vary in size accordingly but we are a ski lodge and as such space is always at a premium.
Play pool in our recreational mezzanine - or pop into the TV room and enjoy Foxtel. Free fibre optic cable WiFi throughout the lodge.
Our guest laundry provides a coin slot washing machine & tumbler dryer. Laundry detergent, iron & ironing board are all available with our compliments.
Your daily tariff includes a continental buffet breakfast, (a hearty cooked breakfast & afternoon tea during high season), and a gourmet three course dinner during high season and two course meal during value season (except Fridays). Our BYO restaurant is exclusive to house guests. Our chef, Alistair Matthews, is happy to accommodate special dietary requirements - please notify in advance of arrival. We provide a sandwich press, microwave and toaster at lunchtime, to enable you to easily prepare your own lunch at the Lodge. Our guest fridges provide space for lunch items and drinks, though you're always welcome to create your own igloo esky on the balcony, snow permitting :)
Children (3 -14yrs) are served dinner at the special earlier sitting of 6pm - all healthy, home-cooked fare. Even the most resistant appetites have been conquered. Should your child wish to join you for the adult dinner, student rates will apply. Children are not permitted in the dining room after 7pm.
24 hour tea (including herbal) and coffee (including plunge, decaf) are available at the servery.
Covid 19 Safety Plan is in place. This may cause some services to be modified depending on government directives - please consider this before booking.

Queen rooms have a queen bed. These rooms are slightly smaller than queen/twin rooms which have the floor space to split into two singles. If slightly more space is a priority to you, select the queen/twin. The queen room was originally built to accommodate a double bed, with the result that the queen bed is along a wall on one side. Compact, clean and comes with a lovely mountain view.

Bed only with use of commercial kitchen facilities. Please provide own queen sized bed linen and towels. Pillows, mattress protectors and doonas are provided. Cleaning duties must be completed during stay and prior to departure. Only queen/twin rooms are available however all of these except Rm 3 can be split into two singles for children.
Room rate is discounted on the 4th and following days to $80 per night. This discount will be applied after your booking as been received. NO FURTHER DISCOUNTS APPLY. Members must use promo code which has been emailed in October in order to see member rate.
Please be advised that there may be ongoing maintenance and building works at the lodge. Whilst every effort is made to keep the lodge clean and tidy, there is no guarantee that this will be the case. No larger rooms are open during the summer months due to the logistics and expense of running large water heating systems.
Please take care to switch off room heaters, lights, boiling water zip and empty fridges prior to departure.

Payment in full once discount adjustments have been applied.
Cancellation Policy
No refund .
Full refund if Covid-19 border closures or lockdown prevent arrival up until the day of arrival. Shelter in place permits guests to remain at lodge however, if this extends beyond actual booking, additional daily costs apply.
