Property Information
River Rock Estate
Accommodation:
River Rock Estate has two styles of accommodation, Vineyard Ensuite rooms and a two bedroom cottage.
The Vineyard rooms can both sleep two adults, there is one king size bed in each room.
The Cottage can sleep up to four adults, there is one king size bed in the main room and a queen bed in the second bedroom. All rooms are situated in the vineyard. There are also Hot Pools available (Charges apply). The accommodation is not suitable for children.
Camper Van sites:
Two sites available for fully self contained campers only. Power, Wifi, water and toilet provided, no bathroom facilities. Laundry facilities available (Fees apply.)
Hot Pools complex:
Open daily 12noon - 9pm. Open to the public.(Fees apply). Set among grain silos, a stables building, stone and rocky outcrops with native plantings and views of the surrounding mountains and vineyard. The Hot Pools temperatures range from 34 - 40 degrees. The complex is only suitable for adults.
Boutique Vineyard:
The vineyard is 3 acres in size, planted with 2670 vines varieties being Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Table grapes, olive trees and Cocktail Kiwi Fruit. All the vines are planted closer than normal with all the vineyard having double fruiting wires allowing for more production from a smaller area of land volume.
Pinot Gris planted 2004 & 2007. Sauvignon Blanc planted 2005. Pinot Noir planted 2005 & 2007.
Table grapes: Albany Surprise, Golden Girl, Caroline Black, all planted 2004.

Terms & Conditions
River Rock Estate is a small business and cancellations have a significant impact. Cancellations: A booking fee of 100% of the room rate will be charged on all cancellations within 30 days of the booking date. A no show booking will be charged at the full booking rate. COVID: No booking fee will be charged on cancellations due to travel restrictions caused by Covid, guests are still required to notify River Rock Estate of cancellation prior to booking. A higher room rate may apply at peak times and a minimum amount of booking nights may apply. We have a credit card and contactless payment fee of 2.64%
Any breakages, property missing or damaged caused by the customer may be charged for at the owner’s discretion. A cleaning fee will be charged if smoking/vaping or odorous foods (e.g. fish, curries etc) have been prepared in the room. No burning of incense or candles in your room.
Checkout is 10am, a late checkout fee will be charged if after 10am unless prior arrangements are made.
River Rock Estate is not suitable for children under 16 years of age.
We ask that you do not bring pets.
We also remind guests River Rock Estate is a working vineyard so guests may encounter working machinery, spraying, frost fighting and bird scaring.
Payment Policy
Guest credit card details are required when checking in for payment (if not already prepaid) or any possible incidentals that guest may occur. Credit card details are not kept on file after guest leaves. We have a credit card and contactless payment fee of 2.64%
