Telegraph Retreat Cottages
Telegraph Retreat is an award winning rural retreat in the Port Macquarie hinterland. We have two romantic and private studio cottages and a larger family style house, all with their own outdoor hot tub, wood burning fire and full kitchen. A stay at Telegraph Retreat is the ideal way to relax and refresh the body and mind - come and do nothing or enjoy the wide range of nearby activities such as mountain-biking, kayaking and all that Port Macquarie has to offer. Pamper yourself with robes and slippers, breakfast hampers delivered to your door and time to reconnect. Kids will have a great time too feeding the ducks and goats.

Arrive to your studio cottage with hot tub, fresh flowers, sparkling wine on ice, Ricardoes strawberries and local Baba Lila chocolates. The fridge will be stocked with a generous grazing platter, breakfast hamper and a barbecue pack. Enjoy a late midday checkout on Sunday. Put your feet up in front of the fire as all of the hard work has been done for you. This package is available for Friday and Saturday night stays only.

Terms & Conditions
We do accept small, non shedding dogs in The Croft and The Farmhouse. Please speak to us if you wish to bring your pet and we will try to accommodate your request. Please note that pets can not be accommodated without prior approval from us and that we do not allow pets in The Byre cottage. Animals must be kept under control at all times, must not be left at the cottage unattended and should be kept off the furniture and out of the bathroom. Excess cleaning charges may apply if waste is not collected or the furniture has pet hair on it. If these conditions are not adhered to we reserve the right to ask you to seek kennel accommodation for your pet at your expense or to ask you to leave.
As with all self contained accommodation, our cottages should be left in a clean and reasonable state with all dishes washed and put away.
The cost of reasonable housekeeping is incorporated into the tariffs however, where excessive cleaning is required the cost of additional staff wages and any damage will be charged to your account. Please note that if the three cottages are booked together by a group a bond of $300 will be required ten days in advance of stay, which will be refunded if the cottages are left in a clean and tidy condition with no damages. We reserve the right to charge to your credit card any damage however caused or cleaning beyond the normal of a reasonable guest.
Normal check in time is from 2pm and check out by 11am but may vary with notice. A fee of $50 may be levied for late departure where incoming guests may be inconvenienced.
You and your guests must not damage any of our Property. You are liable for and indemnify us against all loss or damage (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) incurred or suffered directly or indirectly in connection with the use of our Property by you or any of your guests.
"Property" means the property known as Telegraph Retreat located at 126 Federation Way, Telegraph Point New South Wales, Australia and all of our other real or personal property located within or on the Property.
Payment of a deposit is acknowledgement & acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Payment Policy
Limited time offer - pay $1 deposit only (non refundable ). Booking may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to stay dates when the balance will be charged. Payments can be made to the following bank account or charged to your credit card:

If we close due to Covid-19 government restrictions, or any other reason, we will refund any monies paid. Please note that we cannot be held liable for any associated travel costs, if we do close for any reason. If we are open but you are unable to travel due to a Covid lockdown or because you have to isolate we will reschedule your dates if you notify us at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival.
Cancellation Policy
$1 deposit to book - this is non refundable unless we have to close for any reason.
More than 14 days cancellation notice - deposit will be forfeited.
Less than 14 days notice (including non arrival) - full payment of period booked is due. However, if you are unable to travel due to a Covid lockdown, or because you have to isolate, we will reschedule your dates if you notify us at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival.
Balance of booking will be deducted from credit card 14 days prior to stay dates.
Guests are recommended to purchase adequate travel insurance.
