Te Moenga Lodge

Te Moenga Lodge offers a balance of rest and recreation, right on the doorstep of everything the Great Lake region has to offer. Located in the picturesque Acacia Bay by Lake Taupo, the lodge is ideal for relaxing holidays and events such as weddings and corporate retreats. We are elevated high above the lake with spectacular views.

Ideal for weddings, retreats, meetings and more. The garden is the perfect backdrop for weddings with photo opportunities galore and a large marquee site overlooking Lake Taupo. The lodge can host a variety of functions for business or social occasions and catering can be organised to suit your needs.

The use of the facilities such as the hot tub and outdoor pool is available to all guests.

The lodge offers two very different levels of accommodation. We have private, spacious stand-alone chalets with kitchenette, full modern bathrooms and their own dining and living areas. The views from each chalet are spectacular during both night and day. On the balcony of each chalet is a hooded barbeque with outdoor seating.

In addition to the chalets there are two studio rooms- each with separate access and ensuite bathrooms. Guests who stay in the studio rooms have access to the shared guest lounge with stunning views over the lake.

Located just three hours’ drive from Auckland, there are nature walks and mountain bike tracks nearby. Base yourself at the lodge to explore this beautiful part of the world. Thermal pools, Mt Maunganui, Hawkes Bay wine country and Tongariro National Park are all a quick journey away.
