The Empire Hotel is a renovated heritage building showcasing some of Tasmania's finest timbers and craftsmanship. The Hotel is centrally located in Deloraine - home to a vibrant artistic community. It is ideally situated for exploring northern Tasmania. The natural beauty of Cradle Mountain, Mole Creek, Liffey Falls, Solomon's Caves, the Great Lakes and the Tamar Valley are all within an easy drive.
Not to be missed when visiting are the fantastic platypus that live in the Meander river in the heart of Deloraine. The Empire offers visitors and guests the opportunity of participating in a free guided tour of the river where you can see these amazing animals.
Deloraine is central to the culinary delights of 41 South, 3 Willows vineyard, Red Brick Road Gin and Cider house, Forager Foods, Christmas Hill Berry Farm, Ashgrove Cheese and several famous truffle farms.
The Empire is a bike friendly hotel and makes an ideal base for cycling trips.

The Empire hotel is a smoke free zone, designated smoking areas can be accessed outside of the hotel.
No pets allowed in rooms, assistant animals excepted.
The owner or manager of the Empire reserves the right to ask guests to leave with no refund if their behaviour is detrimental to the well being of the hotel guests and or staff.
Payment Policy
Payment is required in full on or before arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide notice of cancellation or changes to your booking in writing (via email). For cancellations made more than 28 days prior to arrival, booking funds will be refunded in full. For cancellations made up to 48 hour prior to arrival, booking funds will be refunded less a 20% cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 48 hour in advance of arrival, no refund will be given, however, the reservation may be rescheduled to another equivalent period subject to availability.
