Terms & Conditions

When booking accommodation at Tidewater, we do require a credit card at time of booking, please note that this will not be charged unless the following occurs.
Failure to check-in, failure to cancel booking or make changes to it, any breakages and damaged property or fittings.
Please note that you have paid for the beds that you require, should other beds bed used within your motel unit, you will be charged at $35.00 per bed, this will be charged to your credit card after your rooms have been checked by management.
Please do not place any personal items, bags and clothing onto the unused beds, as this causes the white top sheet to become crushed and or marked, should this result your credit card maybe charged with a $10.00 fee per bed not used but top sheet soiled.
All payments by credit card and other charges will incur a 3 percent credit card fee.
All Motel and Dorm rooms are to be left in a reasonable condition, all motels and shared kitchen require their dishes to be done.
Please only use beds that have been allocated to you in the dorm rooms. Please refrain from using the linen, pillow and Duvets of other beds, if used this may result in your credit cards being charge with a $5.00 fee after your departure.
No food is allowed to be consumed and or stored in the dorm rooms
All motel and dorm rooms are not allowed chilly bins to be placed on the floors (carpet).
All paying guest are to be mindful of others and the noise is to be keep to a minimum after 11pm. Outside lights are on a timer and will go out at 11pm.
Coromandel Town is very big into recycling, so we would ask all guests to use the correct bins that are provided.
At present Coromandel Town is on a complete water ban for the use on any outside taps and hoses. We also ask that you be mindful of your general water use.

Payment Policy

All payments are required on check-in, unless paid in advance.

Payments can been made by direct credit, credit card over the phone or at check-in. Please note that we have a 3 percent surcharge for credit cards.

Advance books my require a 50 percent deposit, this is at the owners discretion.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is free up to 14 days prior to arrival. If not cancelled within that time, charges will be incurred.

Cancellation of a booking may also not be possible, should you book out the last room. This will be advised at time of booking and full payment on a credit card or by direct credit can be asked for. In this case the 7 day cancellation policy is deleted from this contract.
