This luxury duplex honeymoon suite overlooks the serene waters of Varadero Bay and onto the slopes of ‘Baclayan’. This majestic mountain range marks the start of the territory belonging to the indigenous Iraya ‘Mangyan’ Indians. At night, higher up in the misty rainforests, fires can often be seen in the settlements above ‘Baclayan’ and beyond, adding intrigue and wonder to the essence of romance already present in this; our boutique Sampaguita Suite.
The unique design of the Sampaguita Suite affords an impressive panoramic view from the well appointed lounge area; from the spacious veranda on the middle floor and again from the bedroom suite. The Sampaguita is built into a spiral reminiscent of a sea shell, apparent from the roof line and corresponding shaped ceiling.

Cancellation policy
Any advance payment or deposit will not be refunded in the event of no-show.
Early Checkout will incur a charge of one night.
All refunds will be paid less applicable bank fee’s.
Utopia Resort Booking Policy
No booking will be considered confirmed until receipt of deposit payment is verified and an email confirmation of reservation issued by the resort.
The deposit requirement will be advised at the time of booking and the balance is due to be paid in full upon check in at the resort.
Customer Satisfaction Policy
If Utopia Resort & Spa has not provided the quality of product or service to the level of customer expectation a suitable compensation will be offered but if this proposal is unacceptable then a full refund will be given without quibble.
In the event that Utopia Resort and Spa has failed to provide the service for room reservations offered and paid for by a guest we, in accordance with terms and conditions and the standard advertised Policy on both the website and with any booking agency guarantee to refund the money paid by the customer less any prescribed charges as well as from the booking company/agency and any applicable charges if the amount was paid by credit card.
Food & Beverage Policy
At Utopia Resort & spa we have a strict no outside food & beverage are allowed within the premises at all times guests who bring their own food & beverage to the resort will incur a charge to be determined by the resort at that time.
Pet Policy
Dogs
At Utopia Resort & Spa we have understanding for guests whose dogs are very much part of the family and therefore we do accept dogs in our resort on certain conditions:
We can’t accept more than 3 dogs at any one time, so please ensure you book your pet at the time you make your reservation.
Dogs must be at all times on a leash, obedient and quiet.
Owners are responsible for keeping the resort tidy and picking up dog poo.
Dogs may not sleep in guest beds. Please bring along the pet bed.
There is a quarantine form to be filled in at the pier in Batangas and this will only be issued to pets with valid and updated vaccination certificates for which we will need a photocopy.
The resort reserves the right to ask the pet owner to remove the dog from the resort, should it be cause of disturbance to other guests or frighten our staff.
Kindly declare the breed of dog you wish to bring along as our resort is not ideal for large working breeds.
We levy a daily rate of Php 500.00 per dog per night.
The food is to be brought along by the owners but simple rice and grilled meat can be ordered and will be charged as per our regular menu.
Smoking Policy
At Utopia Resort we take great care and pride in the cleanliness and readiness of our suites and cottages for the enjoyment of our guests every time they visit.
We ask you to kindly refrain from smoking in our rooms and to respect our standards.
Please feel free to smoke on the verandas, balconies or anywhere in the gardens at your leisure for which we provide ample ashtrays for your use.
If you insist on smoking inside your suite or cottage, we will levy a cleaning surcharge of One Thousand Pesos for each night of your stay.
Verification of Smoking in the room will be based on “Odour Detection” by the resort staff.
Security Policy
At Utopia we have security staff on duty 24 hours for your safety and peace of mind.
There are CCTV camera’ in operation at various strategic locations around the resort.
Our guests can rest assured that these are monitored constantly by our 24 hr. security team
All persons entering the premises will be greeted and checked by our security staff and guided to reception.
A safety deposit box is available in every suite or cottage for cash, tickets camera’s etc.. For larger items that will not fit you may leave them at reception.
Utopia management recommend you use your safety box at all times.

Policy on the Use of Henna products:
Please be aware of the problems caused by using Henna or other dyes because on occasions some guests use Henna Dyes for body decoration, tattooing or hair treatments. It is unfortunate that Henna and Dye stains cotton pillow cases, bedding and towels. These stains are irremovable and as such we are compelled to charge for any stained items.
For example Bedding, purchased is very expensive and we will add the cost of replacement for each item stained.
