Villa Kropak is a four bedroom Javanese-style villa situated in picturesque Sidemen, Karangasem. Overlooking a sweeping panorama of ancient rice terraces and mountains, we are located right in the heartland of Sidemen - a traditional and untouched rural community where life goes on as it has for hundreds of years. Featuring three luxurious accommodation suites (four bedrooms), large indoor/outdoor dining area and kitchen, terrace and vast green spaces which include our very own rice fields and organic gardens. The centrepiece of the villa is an incredible 20 metre lap pool which overlooks Sidemen valley and Tudak Yeh Unda river which sits directly below the property. Escape the city for a relaxing getaway with friends and family!
We are staffed with seven team members from the local Tabola village! Prepare your own meals or order from our restaurant menu. Enjoy a massage by the pool, Balinese cooking class or a hike through the rice fields. Our friendly staff are here to help and are all fully vaccinated :)

Booking Policy:

Check out after 12:00pm will incur an additional nights fee
Guests are welcome to store baggage in our guesthouse before check-in/after check-out.
We have up to four extra mattresses available on request - available in Bale Suite (2) and Water Garden Suite (2). There is an extra charge of 250.000/night for each extra mattress (inclusive of breakfast and taxes). We also have a crib and high chair available (free of charge).
Room rates inclusive of daily breakfast and 11% Government tax
Our desk is open between 9am and 9pm each day

It is a condition of your stay that you abide by standards of behaviour outlined below:
- Guests will behave appropriately at all times and respect the privacy and rights of other guests
- For safety reasons smoking is not allowed in the rooms. Smoking is permitted in the designated outdoor areas only
- The villa is located in a traditional area and guests are reminded to respect the local customs wherever possible
- The Management reserves the right to accept or refuse all bookings
Payment Policy
Payment will not be taken from your credit card - these details are only charged in the case of late cancellation. The balance of your accommodation cost is required at check-out. Additional costs (food, beverages, spa treatment and activities) are also due on check-out.
Payment can be made by credit card or cash (IDR). We do not accept any other currencies. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 14 days prior to check in
- 50% charge for cancellations within 14 days of check-in date
- 100% charge for cancellation within 7 days of check-in date
