Walsh’s Hotel in Queanbeyan has a fascinating history, spanning back to 1875 when the building was first erected. For ten years, the building was used as a millinery and drapery. In 1885, it became licensed as the Globe Hotel. Walsh's Hotel was the first building in Queanbeyan to have electricity and a telephone, hence the 001 on the end of the phone number.

We offer 12 spacious rooms for accommodation, ranging from single, twin or double rooms. All rooms have TV and bar facilities and heating/cooling system. Ensuites or shared facilities are available depending on your budget.
Secure parking at the rear of the Hotel is available. Weekly rates apply for those needing temporary long stay accommodation.
