Terms & Conditions

“NO PARTY” POLICY - Noise or disruption to other guests will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to evict guests after one warning, and offers no refunds.
NO SMOKING POLICY for all rooms - If the Manager detects smoke odour in a room, a $200 excess cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. An additional daily room rate will be charged for as long as the room is closed due to smoke odour. If we receive complaints from other guests due to secondhand smoke in outdoor areas you will be asked to stop smoking on the grounds of the Motel.
DAMAGE TO ROOMS - Every person signing this document and/or occupying accommodation, or utilizing other services, shall be personally responsible for all charges including excess cleaning surcharge and for damages.
EXTRA CLEANING FEES - In extreme cases, where left over food has not been placed in the bin and pots rinsed out (at a minimum) an extra cleaning fee will be charged. This penalty does not apply for general cleaning following use of kitchen facilities. If the room has been left in a state that requires special or extra cleaning (such as stream cleaning or removal of unhygienic waste) an extra cleaning fee will apply.
LOSS of PROPERTY - The owners of the premises will not be liable for damage to or loss of property brought onto the premises by the occupier or their guests.

1. The booking is subject to the provision of a valid credit card. If a valid credit card is not provided the booking is not confirmed nor secured. Reception will take every measure possible to contact you in this case.

2. Requirements upon Check-in: You will be required to provide a credit card imprint or equivalent at check-in to cover incidental charges.
The person registering at check-in must be at least 18 years of age.

Bookings for Public Holiday Weekends or Special Event days are non-refundable.

Peak Periods:
Peak periods will be non-refundable and payment may be debited before the arrival date.

If booked through an internet accommodation site (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia etc) the cancellation policy as outlined on the website and in your confirmation email will apply at all times.

COVID CANCELLATION POLICY Sept 2021

You will always be given the opportunity to cancel free of charge (unless high risk interstate bookings) however the following policy is on the strict proviso that you inform us of your cancellation within 24 hours of a lockdown/extension of a lockdown announcement. Delayed or late requests may not be offered free cancellation, as your booking will not allow other guest who can travel to book or for us to resell the room.

INTERSTATE BOOKINGS
Interstate bookings are very high risk given the COVID situation in the States and high probability of border closures. For interstate bookings we will be adhering to the advertised cancellation policy – so please check the cancellation policy applied to your booking and contact us immediately if you are not agreeable with the policy timeline. If you do need to cancel we will try to resell your accommodation and refund any amount we are able to resell the room for. If you have booked through a third party, online agent, we will still be charged the commission, so this amount of 15% will be deducted from your refund. If you have booked with us directly - thank you - and there will be no additional commission charge.

MELBOURNE BOOKINGS
Given the pattern of past lockdowns that sees Melbourne staying in lockdown after Regional Victoria is released, we need to work proactively to ensure our accommodation is not blocked with Melbourne bookings, only to be cancelled at the last minute (due to snap lockdowns and last minute decisions on restrictions). We are happy to provide free cancellation in the case of a COVID lockdown, however if it seems unlikely that a release of lockdown will be announced we may ask you to decide on a cancellation before the official announcement is made. To be clear – a free cancellation is certainly offered, however we will determine the timing of that cancellation. You are within your rights to ask us to hold the booking – and we will do that – however if you do need to cancel at a later date we wont offer a refund unless the room/s are rebooked.

REGIONAL VICTORIA
We offer free cancellation if unable to travel due to COVID restrictions. If your area has been a recent, designated hotspot we may ask you to make a call on your cancellation before a lockdown release/extension is officially announced per the Melbourne Bookings policy above.

PERSONAL COVID ISOLATION If you or one of your party develop symptoms and need to isolate and you therefore cancel your stay we will try to resell your accommodation and refund any amount we are able to resell the room for.
