Terms & Conditions

ACCOMMODATION:
Our accommodation, being located in a remote community and catering to a wide range of internal and external guests, does not follow the typical model and, in many areas, differs widely from the service being offered by standard accommodation providers.
All visitors are required to attend the Relevant Council Office upon arrival to the Community to sign the visitor log books and collect keys prior to 4pm. Visitors must ensure that the log book is signed off and keys returned prior to departure.
We ask that guests check out by 9am and that they ensure that the following applies before checkout:
1 All rubbish is disposed of and placed in the wheelie bin provided.
2 All dishes are washed and put away.
3 All spills are cleaned (fridge, stove, microwave, etc)
Please note that you will be financially liable for any costs that may be incurred due to excessive cleaning requirements on departure, loss of inventory any damage to property, etc. loss of keys.
All rooms are non smoking, anyone caught smoking will be liable for any extra cleaning incurred and refused accommodation in the future.

VEHICLE HIRE:
- A valid Drivers licence must be emailed to WDRC.Accommodation@westdaly.nt.gov.au prior to booking confirmation.

RETURN OF VEHICLE
You agree to return the vehicle to the Council:
a) to the place the place where the vehicle was picked up, on the date shown on this rental agreement during normal business hours;
b) in the same condition as it was at the commencement of the rental period.
If you fail to return the vehicle in accordance with this rental agreement then you agree to pay the Council reasonable compensation for any expense, loss and/or inconvenience it has incurred.
You agree to promptly return the vehicle at any lime and without prior notice upon the Council's request
You agree to return the vehicle with no less fuel than it had when you rented it. If you return the vehicle with less fuel then you agree to pay the Council the reasonable associated with refuelling the vehicle (including labour).

Payment Policy

All payments are to be by Credit Card or approved Purchase Order only, no cash payments will be accepted.

A surcharge will apply to all Credit Card payments as per booking summary.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notification for any cancellations and changes is required. Failure to do so will result in a fee of one nights accommodation , or equivalent to one times the hourly rate for relevant Conference room, Work space and Vehicle bookings, for less than 24 hours notice and no shows.
