Terms & Conditions

We look forward to welcoming you to William Arnott Hotel. Please note, when you make your booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Arrival and Departure

Check in is available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival. Check-in times outside of those specified can be confirmed with us prior to arrival.

We ask that you please vacate your room by 10.00am on the morning of departure.

Reservations

Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.

To confirm your reservation, credit/debit card details are required to pay for your booking.

Car Parking

Car parking is available for guests at the front of the building. Cars parked here are at owners risk.

Damage and Breakages

Please take care of our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. This includes replacement cost for any linens, for example, certain beauty products such as spray tan will permanently stain linens. Where this occurs a replacement fee will be taken from the security deposit. We do not normally charge for breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.

Data

Some of the data gathered during the course of a booking may be held on computer. We would like to hold this data after your visit to be able to inform you of future offers. If you would prefer us not to hold this information please let us know.

Keys

You have access to the building and your room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you on arrival. You have full responsibility of these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys will be charged at $85.00 per set.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.

Lost Property

We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. However, there will be a minimum charge of $15.00 to cover postage and packaging.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in the Cottage. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. This does not affect bookings already made.

Smoking

Smoking is NOT permitted within any part of William Arnott Hotel. Please note that offending guests may be asked to leave immediately and may be liable for professional cleaning of any rooms and any outstanding balance of nights booked but not taken through early departure.

Termination Policy

William Arnott Hotel reserve the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, any individuals stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others (Please note that non compliance of our non smoking policy may constitute termination). In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled, no refunds will be made.

Wi-Fi Access

By using our Wi-Fi Service you automatically agree to the terms and conditions of use in force at the time.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

You acknowledge and agree that all intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to, copyrights (including rights in software), trademarks, database rights, patents and inventions) in and relating to the service are owned by us and our licensors or contractors. Nothing in this agreement operates to transfer any such intellectual property rights to you.

Curfew: Entry to the property will be closed between the hours of 23:30 and 05:00

Refundable damage deposit: A damage deposit of AUD 500 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

Child policies:
- Children of any age are welcome.
- To see correct prices and occupancy information, please add the number of children in your group and their ages to your search.

Cot and extra bed policies:
- Cots and extra beds are not available at this property.

Age restriction: The minimum age for check-in is 18

Payment Policy

Payment - 100% at time of booking

Payment is due at the time of booking and must be made directly to the property. We now only offer contactless payments, so if you haven't paid online please call with credit card details. We accept the following cards; American Express, Debit MasterCard and Visa (surcharge applies).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to accommodation type and promotional bookings.
Please note all bookings made through third party platforms are NON-refundable. Bookings made directly to the hotel have a 30 day cancellation policy, therefore if you cancel within 30 days of checkin, there is no refund.
