** DUE TO QLD GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS FROM 17TH DECEMBER 2021 ANY GUESTS WANTING TO DINE AT THE ABBEY OR USE COMMUNAL AREAS MUST HAVE PROVIDED THEIR VACINATION CERTIFICATE ON ARRIVAL.  IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SUITABLE COVID CERIFICATE YOU WILL ONLY HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOMMODATION ROOM. SO, IF YOU HAVE LIGHT BREAKFAST INCLUDED THIS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE PROVIDED. 
Bookings made direct that include a light breakfast are served between 8 & 9am
Adults over 18 only unless all rooms are booked by the same group.
For the security and safety of all guests, only guests staying at the Abbey are permitted into the building or on the grounds unless arrangements have been made prior to booking.
Staying at the Abbey does not give you or any third party rights to take professional photos in the house or on the grounds.
Due to the fact that we are a small hotel and you are booking a specific room which we are holding for you there is a firm cancellation policy in place, especially when done through 3rd party booking sites. Please read this before booking your stay.
No BYO on the grounds or ground floor.
No smoking in the house, rooms or verandas.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required to secure your booking.
We accept Visa, Mastercard (1.5% card charge added) or bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy

REFUND/CREDIT POLICY
THE BELOW ONLY APPLY IF YOU BOOKED DIRECTLY WITH THE ABBEY.
IF YOU BOOKED WITH A 3RD PARTY (IE BOOKING.COM/EXPEDIA/QANTAS ETC) THEIR NO CANCELLATION POLICY WILL TAKE EFFECT. THE ABBEY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR 3RD PARTY BOOKING POLICY'S.

*50% refund if cancelled from booking until 150 days prior to arrival date.
*25% refund if cancelled 120 days prior to arrival date.
*10% of deposit will be refunded if cancelled 60 days prior to arrival date.
*No refund will be given if cancelled within 60 days of arrival date.
Should QLD Health restrictions stop us from accepting guests or you are in a lock down area that prohibits you travelling (proof of this may be required) we shall process a credit note to use for a stay within 6 months of original stay.
PLEASE NOTE, WHEN CREDIT NOTES ARE USED TO RE BOOK ACCOMMODATION, IF YOU AREN'T ABLE TO MAKE IT YOU FORFEIT THE VALUE OF CREDIT NOTE .
We do recommend you purchase Comprehensive Travel Insurance & suggest it includes, but not be limited to, – loss of payment through cancellation; loss or damage to personal baggage; loss of money and medical expenses.

Should the Abbey cancel your accommodation for any reason whatsoever – you will receive a full refund of any payments paid to us. You will however not receive any remuneration or compensation of any sort including but not limited to you or your guests or any third party having to cancel accommodation, travel expenses, difference in booking another venue, loss of deposits or other payments due to other suppliers or third parties due to the Abbey being unable to accommodate you or your party.
