Ann's Volcanic Rotorua Motel Terms & Conditions

Credit card details are required to confirm all bookings,these are held on file and guarantee the bookings for you!
Check-in is available from 2PM on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10AM on the day of departure.
Early check-in and/or late check-out is by arrangement only.

◆Pre-Bookings
Pre-bookings are accepted for any date during the current year, and any extended future dates if known.
Pre-booking is recommended during peak periods

◆Deposit policy
No reservation will be secured or guaranteed unless a valid credit card number is provided or deposited. Full room
rate is received within 7 days before arrival..

◆Payment methods
Ann's Volcanic Motel accepts the following forms of payment: EftPos,Cash,Visa, Mastercard and American express.
Other forms of payment,please email info@rotoruamotel.co.nz to confirm.
Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of arrival

◆Additional Charges

Lost Keys: $50 per key
Dry Cleaning of duvets or bedspreads: $50 per item
Carpet Cleaning: $150 per room
Damage to Rooms: cost of repair
Breakages: cost of replacement
Missing Chattels: cost of replacement
Return of Lost Property: cost of courier/postage

◆Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our Motel rooms. Management requests that guests respect and adhere to this policy at all
times. Anyone smoking in the room will be charged will a fine of $150 NZD.

◆Upon arrivals
Our motel will require a Valid Credit Card or 200 NZD cash bond upon arrival for the incidental purposes.Please note that without a valid credit card or
cash bond our motel will not be able to check you in.

Attractions Pre-Booking

1. Rotorua is rich in Maori culture and is home to the ‘Te Arawa’ people that settled here some 600 years ago, today they offer the visitor the opportunity to experience authentic traditional Maori villages, Experience an evening cultural show at Te Puia, Mitai or Tamaki Maori villages where stories of myths and legends are told through dance, song and storytelling along with a tasty ‘hangi feast’ where the food is cooked in the steaming ground.
Tips: Free pick up and drop off from motel.

2. Skyline Gondola, Restaurant & Luge
Just minutes from central Rotorua the Skyline Gondola takes you to the top of Mt. Ngongotaha. Here you can relax in the buffet restaurant or on the deck with a glass of wine from Volcanic Hills winery absorbing the expansive views over Rotorua, the geothermal areas and surrounding lakes. For those who like a thrill take a fast paced downhill ride on the Luge, swing high above Rotorua on the Skyswing or take the family into the jelly belly gallery for all sorts of goodies.
Tips: you will get next day free Gondola ride return ticket if you book the restaurant as our motel guest. Restaurant Pre-booking essential.

3. Rotorua Canopy Tours

4. Kaitiaki Rafting Adventures
This makes your journey down the rivers and waterfalls a safe yet unforgettable adventure experiencing world-class Rafting and Sledging with a team of fun-loving personalities, making it an experience you will never forget.

5. Hobbiton Movie Set Tours (Depart daily from Matamata or Rotorua)
Experience the real Middle-earth with a visit to the Hobbiton Movie Set, featured in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films.
Tips: Dinner Evening Tours, every Wednesday.

Your accommodation may be cancelled, IN WRITING, 7 complete days prior to arriving and there are no charges, please email info@rotoruamotel.co.nz. After that time 100% of the booking (1st to 8th night/s, on all accommodation booked, at nightly room rate quoted) is guaranteed by your credit card supplied and charged to the card. Any additional nights ( 9th,10th or more… etc) must be cancelled by 8 days ahead of arrival date.
