24HR BOOKINGS are a request only – these are bookings that DO NOT request payment at the time of the booking.
LIVE BOOKINGS are instant availability – these are bookings that require payment at the time of the booking.
The Carnarvon Retreat staff will contact you within 12hrs regarding your booking that are not instant availability online. If bookings are made outside of business hours, Carnarvon Retreat will contact you within 24hrs of your booking request.
We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation/tour of a similar standard in the case of the accommodation/tour operator overbooking their property or for any reason beyond our control.
Acceptance of TERMS AND CONDITIONS are required at the time of booking. Please ensure you have read the cancellation and indemnity policy carefully before paying for your booking. Terms and Conditions outline the Cancellation Policy of the operator and the cancellation process.
PAYMENT OPTIONS:
The Carnarvon Retreat accepts VISA and MASTERCARD payment for payments processed over the phone or online.
Payments via BANK TRANSFER need to be requested in writing via email –kathyk40@bigpond.com. This option is only available for bookings more then $500 AUD. Payments via BANK TRANSFER are for bookings wishing to be paid in FULL.
PAYMENT FOR BOOKINGS:
FULL PAYMENT is required within 24 hours of booking confirmation, where the arrival date is within 7 days of confirmation.
50% deposit is required within 24hrs of booking confirmation, where the arrival date is more than 7 days from confirmation. 50% deposits can only be made over the phone with a Credit Card.
Failure to pay within the specified times may result in your reservation being cancelled without further notice. Bookings made with a LIVE (instant availability) operator online, requires payment in full at the time of booking. Please view the operator's cancellation and indemnity policy before paying for your booking.

If you wish to settle your account with a credit card you will be required to present the card at check-in where a pre-authorization for the total cost of accommodation plus a security deposit will be processed.
If you prefer to settle your account with cash, you will be required to pay the total cost of accommodation plus a security deposit to cover all incidentals at the time of check-in.
Please note that a valid photo ID will be required at check-in and a copy retained on file. Carnarvon Retreat does not accept personal or company cheques as a method of payment, unless pre-payment is made 10 business days prior to arrival.

A 50 % refund will be made for cancellations received 7 days before date of arrival, No refund thereafter.
In an event of No show, Total cost of the stay will be billed to your credit card.
CANCELLATION:
If you wish to cancel your booking, ALL cancellation requests MUST be in writing to proceed with your request.
