Clonmara Country House & Cottages
Clonmara Cottages are located in Port Fairy, on the corner of Albert Road and the Princes Highway, just a two minute drive or a leisurely fifteen minute walk to the centre of town.
Clonmara offers a choice of either the main Country House that is ideal for families or groups travelling together, the Stone Cottage which is linked to the Country House and can be added to create more accommodation together plus our independently located cottages. The garden cottages and farm view apartments are set apart from each other and nestled in delightful gardens with the farmview apartments overlooking grassy paddocks with our own pet alpacas happily grazing.
CHILD POLICY: Please note that in the Country House we are able to cater for four adults plus two children under 16 years in the sofa bed in one of the living rooms and in the Farm Cottages or Stone Cottage no children but a portacot for infants at an additional charge of $15 per stay.
PET POLICY: 1 small dog, (under 10kg) can stay subject to size and a $20 per day charge payable direct. Pets must be on the lead when coming and going, have their own bedding and not get up on any of the furnishings.
Self check in is always available so arrival time is fine after 2pm onwards till late.

Stay in our gorgeous and cute little Stone Cottage circa 1860 that is attached to the Country House. Featuring a luxe queen bed with goose down quilt, a double spa bath with shower over, comfy living area with flat screen TV, complimentary NETFLIX & wifi, small kitchenette facilities consisting of bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle to make for a truly cosy stay. The Stone Cottage is located at the front of the property and has a little courtyard for your use, the Cottage does get some road noise during the week so not for light sleepers - however we have had hundreds of guests stay who absolutely love it and the price reflects this!

Our Front Garden Cottage is located near the Princes Highway so does get road noise so we do say not for light sleepers, however we have had thousands of guests stay and love it! The Front Garden cottage features a queen bed, air-conditioning, bar fridge, toaster, tea & coffee making facilities, microwave, private garden area, luxury bathroom with double spa bath and walk-in shower and 32inch LCD TV/DVD with netflix. We offer off-street parking and free wi-fi in our Garden Cottages.
Rates shown are for 2 people; each Garden Cottage caters for a maximum of 2 adults. Please note that we can accommodate an infant in a portacot at $15 additional charge.
There is no daily servicing of rooms at Clonmara.

Stay in our gorgeous 1860's Country House any day of the week - with beautiful period character throughout, this well known house is a piece of Port Fairy Heritage.
Indulge yourself and family with two living rooms both equipped with smart TV's with access to netflix, along with a pot belly gas fire in one room and an open fire in the other plus a separate dining area.
A chefs kitchen awaits with 900mm oven, double dish drawer washer, ample bench and cupboard space in the fully equipped kitchen and an AC unit.
For the bedrooms - two queen bedrooms with top quality goose quilts await you. One of the queens has a split system and en-suite facilities that also provide dual access for other guests and a separate toilet. There is a fold out sofa bed in one of the living rooms that can accommodate two children, (kids aged up to 15 ideally).
The second bathroom is located via the dining area and features spa bath with shower over, toilet and full laundry facilities.
Use of the west facing courtyard for outdoor entertaining are yours, along with ample parking, free wifi access and netflix subscription. The whole of the gardens and grounds are also available for your enjoyment along with the back paddocks that have alpacas.

We offer off-street parking and free wi-fi in our accommodation.
Rates shown are for 2 people; each Studio Apartment caters for a maximum of 2 adults and if required an infant in portacot at $15 per stay.
There is no daily servicing of rooms at Clonmara.

CHILD POLICY: We are able to cater for two children under 16 years in the Country House in the fold out sofa bed in one of the living rooms. We can also provide a portacot for infants at an additional $15 charge per stay. There are some gas log fires in the Farm View Apartments and Country House a pot belly gas fire so guests must understand they always supervise children to prevent them burning themselves.
NON SMOKING: To protect the integrity of our non-smoking policy, Clonmara Country House and Cottages will charge an additional night’s accommodation if smoke odour is detected after guest departure.
DAMAGE: Non-accidental or negligent damage caused by a guest to the accommodation will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest, to the cost of the repair.
RISK: We are based in a country style setting with farm animals, if guests wish to feed or stroll through the farm area they acknowledge they do so at their own risk and will supervise any children. We also request that any dirty boots/shoes from the farm area are removed before entering the accommodation.
Payment Policy
PAYMENT POLICY: Full payment will only be charged on day of check in unless by prior arrangement to the credit card provided at the time of reservation.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that the Peak Christmas period, (20 Dec - 05 Jan) Port Fairy Folk Festival weekend & Holiday Weekends are non refundable bookings once made.
Reservations at other times if cancelled with more than 30 days notice are fully refundable.
In the event of cancellation between 30 and 7 days notice of arrival will incur a 1 night cancellation fee.
In the event of cancellation within 1 week or a no show will forfeit the full booking value.
If you cancel your reservation by email/phone, it is only a request to cancel. Your reservation is not cancelled until you have received written confirmation from us. In the case of a dispute, this cancellation must be provided.
