Black01 is as an escape from the frantic – a peaceful seaside place to take time out to chill and reboot.

In 2018, following 25 years in the branding and design business, Cobe transitioned to a company designing and building contemporary cottages for holiday accommodation.

Located in the scenic boutique country coastal retreat of North Haven (Greater Port Macquarie), Cobe Cottage Black01 is a ‘cool’ quality dog friendly vacation base to explore the Mid North Coast of NSW all year round.

A kilometre from Grants (North Haven) Beach and positioned at the end of a small quiet cul-de-sac leading to the Camden Haven river and riverside walkway/park you can be as chilled or active as you like.

Relish easy late mornings sleeping in beautiful French Linen. Give the Oracle Touch coffee machine a good solid workout. Eat in or eat out. Have fish and chips and fresh local seafood from the Fisherman’s Co Op. Binge movies from your favourite streaming service on the 65” 4K HDR smart TV or chill listening to music from the Bang & Olufsen ears. Warm by the European wood fire in the cooler months.

Take a stroll along the riverside walkway to let your furry friends run free on North Haven’s 3.5 km pristine beach. Have a coffee or meal at one of the local cafés and restaurants. See the latest movies in the Plaza theatre (built in 1959) that inspired Baz Luhrmann to become a filmmaker.

North Haven is an idyllic swimming, surfing, kayaking, fishing, boating, bushwalking, cycling and paragliding destination.

Black01 is about a 3.5-hour easy drive from Sydney and a 30-minute drive from Port Macquarie/airport.

Black01’s exterior is black metal clad with translucent glass windows and doors that open out to large timber decks. Its white interior has a spacious living area, lime washed timber floors throughout and a galley kitchen serviced with Miele appliances. It has a lockup garage and large secure backyard.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate laundry. Bedroom 1 and 2 have queen size beds. Bedroom 3 has a double sofa bed. You have the flexibility of being able to combine bedroom 2 and 3 by opening an adjoining barn door.
