The Drift House

Syarat & Ketentuan

We like to think that guests of Drift House will treat the property as if it were their own and take care of it accordingly. In line with this we have outlined some general terms and conditions below.

IMPORTANT CHECK-IN INFORMATION

ON ARRIVAL PLEASE HEAD TO THE LITTLE DARK GREEN BUILDING ON GIPPS STREET WHICH IS OUR RECEPTION. IT IS TO THE FAR LEFT OF THE PROPERTY. JUST RING THE INTERCOM .

CHECK-IN TIME: from 3:00pm, . Please note we are unable to do early check-ins. We are an extremely small business and need time after guests have checked out to service suites and have everything perfect for your arrival.

Guests planning to check-in after 6pm must make contact with an ETA on day of arrival (via text message is fine ph: 0417 782 495)

CHECK-OUT TIME: before 11:00am
Late checkout charges of $100 per hour apply, billed in 15 minute increments.

Getting Here
If you are travelling to Port Fairy from Melbourne via The Great Ocean Road please allow 6-8 hours driving time. The inland route we recommend is 'via Mortlake' (3.5 hours). Adelaide to Port Fairy is 6.25 hours drive time.

Number of occupants
Suites accommodate 2 adults only.

Pets
No pets are allowed in the grounds or inside the accommodation.

Smoke free policy
In the interests of all guests, no smoking is permitted within the guest suites or grounds of Drift House. Smoke affected suites will be charged an airing and cleaning fee equivalent to 1 night’s accommodation at Drift House.

Minibar
If items are taken from the minibar and the minibar form is not signed off, we will charge your credit card for these items accordingly.

Bond
Your credit card will be held as security bond from the date of booking until your departure. Provided the property remains in the same condition as when you arrived, credit card details will be destroyed following an inspection of the property.

Breakages / damage and losses to the property, including any non-standard cleaning requirements (e.g. carpet / furniture steam cleaning) are to be reported to us immediately. We will always look to be reasonable but we reserve the right to charge your credit card after your stay up to $1,000 under these circumstances. You will be contacted prior to your credit card being charged.

Room Keys and Louvre Remote
A $50 fees applies for lost keys and louvre remotes.

A deposit of 50% of the total accommodation charge is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable on arrival.

Kebijakan Pembatalan

Full Refund for cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date, less a $30 administration fee.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will be charged 100% of the total accommodation fee.

No shows will be charged 100% of the total accommodation fee.

COVID CANCELLATIONS
If official COVID restrictions prevent you from travelling to drift house we can either reschedule your booking to a new date, hold your deposit in credit for use against a future booking or cancel your booking and refund the deposit, less a $30 administration fee.

This flexible covid policy does not apply to cancellations as a result of any covid vaccination restrictions that may be applied to our industry.
