Nestled into 27 acres of untouched bushland, at the heart of the Freycinet Peninsula, you will find the aptly named Edge of the Bay Resort. With direct access to 3 private, pristine beaches, and views across Great Oyster Bay to Coles Bay and the Hazards mountains from every cottage, suite and the onsite restaurant, Edge of the Bay Resort is one of the most compelling and idyllic places from which to enjoy Freycinet, and beyond.
The resort offers a range of accommodation to suit both families and couples, as well as an a la carte restaurant, lounge and bar. There is an array of free activities offered on site, or you can venture into Freycinet National Park and enjoy any number of guided or self guided walks. Tours are also available externally, you can take a scenic flight, go kayaking, 4 wheel motor biking or take a cruise into iconic Wineglass Bay. Edge of the Bay Resort is the perfect place to getaway, whether you like to rest and rejuvenate, enjoying the magnificent views from the comfort of your room; or get out and be active in nature at it’s most spectacular.
Privately owned and operated, this family business has a rich history in the area dating back to the mid 1940′s. Development on the site began over 30 years ago with a strong emphasis on environmentally sustainable development. Among other things, you will notice the location of every suite, cottage and facility has been painstakingly thought out to maximise the view and functionality for you, the guest, while minimising the environmental impact and footprint on Freycinet’s remarkable landscape.
Centrally located on Tasmania’s East Coast, Edge of the Bay Resort is just one hour to the Maria Island Ferry, and less than an hour and a half to St Helen’s Bay of Fires. We are an ideal location for you to base yourself to experience all that Freycinet and Tasmania’s East Coast has to offer.

Occupancy:
The accommodation and facilities are provided for resident guests only.
King/Twin Suites: accommodate a maximum 2 persons (including infants and children)
Cottages: accommodate a maximum 5 persons (including infants and children)
Visitors need to be registered at reception upon arrival.
Parking:
Restricted to one vehicle per suite or cottage. Extra parking will be arranged at reception for second car, boats and trailers.
Payments:
Cash, Visa and MasterCard.
Length of Stay:
Refunds for reduced bookings will only be considered where substitution can be effected and additional costs covered
Non - Arrivals:
Will incur the total cost of the booking.
Check-in from 2pm, check-out by 10am, unless otherwise requested.
Lure Wine Bar and Restaurant is now operating independently at Edge of the Bay Resort.

Zahlungsbedingungen
Booking directly with Edge of the Bay Resort is the most cost-effective way of booking.
A $250 per room non-refundable deposit is processed at the time of booking.
Full payment is automatically processed 6 weeks (42 days) prior to arrival.
Stornierungsbedingungen
For cancellations outside 42 days, a cancellation / administration fee of your $250 per room non-refundable deposit will be retained.
For cancellations within 42 days after payment has been received, you will receive a refund of 50% of your total booking.
Edge of the Bay Resort recommends guests to have travel insurance to cover non-refundable bookings.

All bookings will be strictly subject to the payment and cancellation policies of Edge of the Bay Resort. No changes to these policies or refunds will be entertained due to cancellations whether COVID related or not.***
