Bookings: As third party website do not always advise your direct email, please always email us advising of your direct email address and phone number. This allows us to be able to contact you with check in details.
A valid photograph ID of each guest staying must be shown upon check-in.
Credit cards: Please note that there is a 3% credit card charge. Savings/ EFTPOS does not incur these charges.
Please note that Ellie's Guest House has a strict 'NO PARTY POLICY'.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: Should you lock yourself out of your room outside office hours a $50.00 call out fee with be charged the same charge will apply if you loose your room key or take it with you.
ROOMS: Upon check out any cleaning or damage beyond normal usage will incur additional charges.

Monday-Friday 8:30-17:00 - Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays: 9:00-12:00

AFTER OFFICE HOURS CHECK IN- Please ensure you contact the office via email or call during office hours to advise your approx. check in time. On the day of arrival we will email you your check details and room number, so please ensure you check your emails.

*** COVID 19 POLICY IN LINE WITH QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVE: ***
In line with the QLD government mandate, given that we offer shared facilities, from 17th December 2021 ALL guests will be required to show proof of being double vaccinated. Failure to provide this evidence may result in you being unable to stay but still being charged as per our cancellation policy, PRIOR to arrival you must provide names of guest staying, phone number/s and email address.
ALL GUESTS must check in with the QR Code, located at Reception, Entrance Door and in each room. You MUST BE able to show evidence of being Double Vaccinated along with PHOTO ID. If an after office hours check - please forward a copy of you certificate as proof.
We are a small family business, and irrespective of opinions can not afford to risk a $13,000 fine. So we thank you for supporting us and ask that you respect that we are following the Queensland Government Policy.

Guests need to allow appropriate distancing in common areas with a maximum of one guest per 4sqm at any one time or 1.5mtrs apart from other guests

Payment Policy

100 percent of the first night's accommodation will be charged at time of booking and is non-refundable.
Balance of payment on arrival and can be made with cash, credit card (3% surcharge is charged for credit cards) or bank transfer to our account prior to arrival (bank details can be advised upon request).
Credit cards details are required to reserve the booking, balance will be charged on arrival or if booking is cancelled 3 days or less or in the case of No Show *see cancellation policy.
Visa and mastercard only accepted and incur a 3% surcharge.

Cancellation Policy

100 percent of the first night's accommodation will be charged at time of booking and is non-refundable.

If cancelled or modified up to 4 days prior to the arrival date, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

If cancelled, modified 3 days or less or in case of no-show or stay shortened, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
